Highlights Everyone Calm Da Fuqnizzle Down

They had 260 running, 280 passing. 0 sacks. pretty fair to say the have a OLine to run anything. Example. Our 01 team I don't think dorsey was touched all season.
you do realize Oregon surpassed everything Mario did with them on offense w a transfer QB who was benched in half a year. why couldn't Mario get that offense rolling like Lanning and Dillingham are doing? you said the OL right? Mario was there. he didnt get nearly the same results. face it bro. hes a prehistoric cave man who's only real skill is being a used car salesman

Another stat. Oregon is 4th in the nation in rushing. Must have a pretty solid Oline. no? wonder who built and recruited those guys..

Then bounce bro. if you hate it that bad then give up. Cut it out of your life. instead of spending negative BS on a message board for recruits and parents to see. I'll keep receipts for when we do turn this thing around. hopefully you'll be riding manny **** at Penn St by then

lanning and co matched or surpassed (one of the two) the amount of times Mario and co has scored over 40 points in 7 games. but blame the players
who's to say had Mario not stayed and upgraded the QB they wouldn't have done the same? Players mature, develop and i'm sure the culture was embraced at the player level to maintain the discipline when Mario left. Let's see what Lanning does in a few years.

I do not believe Oregon’s offense would be as good as it‘s playing under Lanning and Dillingham. We don’t know who the QB would be, or the OC for that matter. Morehead was suffering from health issues mid-season. He may not have returned.

And let’s see how Oregon evolves over the next 3-4 seasons now that Riley has USC rolling. Recruiting SoCal won’t be as easy.

I dont think he would have hired dillingham. their offense is not what they ran under Mario. to show that, the numbers through 7 games have already surpassed what Mario did offensively in 35 games (that includes Mario having a top 10 pick at QB which lanning does not). ive said Mario will improve your talent base. he will not get you over the top. if Oregon keeps it going this season, well at least have our answer on offense.

yeah thats a diff thing - USC. the same could be said for Mario too. he didnt have to deal with Riley and USC being good. it helps a lot bc you can get a ton of kids from cali that would've gone to SC but they were down

The Colbie Young point is interesting. He is evidence that this can work.

But it remains to be seen why it works for him and not for others.
Young has traits his fellow WRs lack. Size and hands. Ladson comes in a distant second.

Everyone else is a WR3.

Mario recruited nationally, but so is Lanning. You have to at Oregon, the local PNW base isn’t nearly as deep as SoCal, Florida, or Texas. I think Oregon has a verbal from Dante Moore, elite 5* QB from Michigan.

Maybe we’ll get lucky, and USC plays Oregon in the PAC12 title game. They don’t play in the regular season.

they do have Moore.

Maybe there is something to "Mario's guys" and others, right or wrong, just don't mesh with his system.

Did make a good point about the relationships built during the recruiting process. Although he did recruit some like James Williams he didn't recruit most of Manny's guys. And let's face it Manny wasn't the type of coach to exact every ounce of juice out of his guys.

In comes a hardass like Mario and these guys are not used this constant intensity. They are checking out and complaining to their mommas.

This kind of reminds me of Jimmy's 1st year after Schnellenberger. Though it may not have been the players who quit, there were coaches held over from the prior staff that did. Pretty sure they wanted to run JJ out of town his 1st year too.
