Every Top 10 Team's Remaining Schedule

Just thought of something.. would the commitee really do a 1 v 4 rematch of the conference championship game? I know that they are suppose to pick the 4 best teams and not worry about stuff like that but they are human so it has to at least be a thought.

I would hate to watch Bama blow out UGA twice in 2 weeks.

What if Georgia, Penn State, TCU and Miami win out. Who would a 1 loss Alabama jump?
I’m saying Miami.

PSU is in if they go undefeated B1G
TCU is in if they go undefeated Big 12*
If a championship game loss gives either SEC team their first loss, both will go.
ACC left out even if the only undefeated team, Miami, loses out on CFP.**

*The committee will definitely feel that the reasons for burning the Big 12 in the past (no title games, week OOC) deserve a makeup call.

**And, if the teams left on Miami’s schedule lose to anyone in addition to Miami (eg. GT, Stanford or UVA, NAVY...) then it will make an even weaker case for an undefeated ACC champ vs Big 12

1-loss Miami = No CFP

It's such a double standard, we get **** for beating Syracuse by 8, even though they just beat Clemson....yet Wisconsin's schedule is a joke and everyone forgets Penn state beat Iowa on the last play. Close games happen to everyone, yet we seem to be the only ones penalized for them.

Scenarios that worry me even if we win out:

-That Ohio state schedule. If they are ahead of us now and we both win out we are not moving past them.

-Georgia and Alabama meeting undefeated, and Georgia winning. could absolutely see a committee putting both teams in if that is a close game.

I think we need this to happen, or we will be looking at getting snubbed for a 1 loss team in either SEC or Big 10

1. Bama - wins out
2. Penn - wins out
3. TCU - wins out
4. Miami - wins out

We win out, we are in no matter what. Only one SEC and one Big 10 team can end up undefeated. That leaves TCU as possible undefeated and us. If they leave one out it is TCU. There is no way the networks will allow being denied the ratings explosion and undefeated Miami team would bring after all these years(granted at least 12 people might watch just to see TCU). Once we have been back in, say if win this year and are up there next year too, then they will ***** us for someone else, no question. But after all these years? Not happening this year. We are in the playoffs already -- we win, we advance.

That’s just not true.

TCU goes undefeated after Big 12 finally stages a championship and they don’t get in? Won’t happen.

If we win out that would mean we beat 3 ranked teams in the 2nd half of the season (including acccg) two top 15 (possibly 3 top 20) no way they can leave us out our resume would be too legit

If Miami wins out, that means wins against VT, Notre Dame with the whole f'ing world watching, and either NC State or Clemson. The ACC has a track record of performing very well in CFB. There is no way Miami/ACC gets left out if all of those teams win out.

And OSU is going to beat PSU, so this is all academic anyway.

If the scenario plays out like that, they shouldn't jump any. Normally, they can hang their hat on playing in the SEC, but the SEC is trash this year outside of them and Georgia. Plus, their non-conference schedule is not impressive, either.

This.....No way any undefeated major conference champ will be left out unless their are extraordinary circumstances. You will need a situation like a team with a schedule like Wisconsin's this year, squeaking by almost every week, then getting a 9-3 bottom top 25 team in their Conference Championship game.

Politics do come into play. Just can't see the B10 or ACC accepting not getting their undefeated champion in the playoff while another conference gets 2 spots.

If that scenario plays out they should absolutely keep Wisconsin out. There is no excuse for that joke of a schedule. They need to re-balance that conference and start scheduling real OOC games.

Georgia on the road at Auburn will be tough. As long as Miami beats a VT, ND, and a Clemson team with 1 loss, they should have no issue getting in I'd think.

Also, by the time decisions are made, Toledo will probably be ranked and that win will look solid.

PSU AD has sone real balls scheduling Michigan, OSU and MSU in successive weeks.

PSU's athletic director has NOTHING to DO with their conference schedule. The Big Ten handles ' conference scheduling ' and all that.

Nevertheless, I believe lowly Indiana will pull off the UPSET win over the Badgers.:sanford: hUh.

Wisconsin should be ashamed of themselves. I hope they get embarrassed by Iowa or Michigan, or completely annihilated in the B1G championship game.

What a fraud.

Iowa doesn't have the offensive power, and Michigan's SECOND-STRING signal caller is absolutely ATROCIOUS. Which leaves their opponent in the Big Ten title game.
