Every starting DB can hit and wrap up

tackling across the board has been rock solid and you can tell hetherman's "swarm to the ball" ethos has absolutely taken root. these guys are absolutely flying to the ball, so many plays where we ended up having 5 or 6 orange jerseys bringing a guy down. and that continued even after the backups came in.

Best open field tackling I’ve seen from us in a looooong time
Better athletes. Taller, stronger and faster. One missed tackle doesn’t last long because the 2nd guy is right there.

Remember the 1st half sack when Brown escaped Toure, then Bain, then looked up and ran into Blount and Mesidor. 4 guys had a shot at him. The first 2 missed the sack but we don’t even remember that because the 3rd and 4th guys.

literally when brown spun out of the first couple guys i could feel myself going "oh here we go" and expecting him to run for the first down, and then he got immediately swarmed. the difference is VERY noticeable

Alot more disciplined from last year but perimeter tackling still kind of worries me a lil bit
Not saying you’re wrong or anything but this is a problem across college football. The rules have had an effect

To your point though I agree and just makes the swarming part more important
