Virginia is an area I would like us to focus on more in recruiting.

Good talent pool and neither In-state school really has a strong grip on pulling the top kids. Plus they both don’t look to be going in the right direction.

Plus, Kids would still get the chance to play in front of their families once a year when we come down and stomp VT or Virginia.

We came late and it may hurt us hut VT really does look like a dumpster fire and you have to imagine he sees this. Hope we can get an ov

i always said this kid looks fast and aggessive on film. i wondered why he floated under radar.

Just Got a hugeeeeeeeeee bump on the final 247 rankings. Went from a low to mid 3 star to a low to mid 4 star. He is now the #12 OLB in the class when he was the #52 before the rankings update. We are currently trying to get him on campus but Virginia Tech has led here for a long time.

Who out of our commits had a change in their rankings?

Everyone came in late. Eugene had almost no major offers until the end of the season. He primarily played RB his sophomore and junior seasons, but moved primarily to LB for his senior season. His high school, Westfield HS in Chantilly (where my son attends and my daughters attended), has a ton of Virginia Tech families - alumni and kids who went/go there. As such, there is a lot of Virginia Tech influence. Eddie Royal and Sean Glennon both went to Virginia Tech, but Ryan Glennon went to NC State and Evan Royster went to Penn State. So, it is not an automatic. Eugene's dad is a nice guy, but I do not know anything about his plans. If he has not committed to a visit at this point, I doubt that we will get one.

So far VT is getting fisted by the portal. Their QB is about to get teleported somewhere star trek style.
