Certainly. Fair announcer when it came to us, smoothed-brain take on a police escort, but certainly not political. Probably the best use of the word "woke" I've seen on this site lol. Bravo.Agreed. Probably should have said he was trying way too hard to be woke than political. That was where the culture was at ESPN around then though, so maybe he was just toeing the company line for all I know.
I always appreciated how prepared he was for UM bball games, even when we were awful. You get some guys on there who didn't even know guys names on the bench, and he was always ready where a story or comment about every single player or the city of Miami during broadcasts.
