Only team that could come close to the '01 team was USC. Laughable that the gators '08 team is ranked 2nd over us.

No wonder ESPN's drowning.
 
Zero question that Canes 01 team is th greatest of all time. Not only were there 17 first rounders but a majority were future Pro-Bowlers.

That’s why these current Bama teams can’t compare with that team. Sure they have a fair amount of 1st rounders but then most turn out to be average pros.
 
They’ve ranked 2001 best team ever over that Texas team pretty much every season since the Texas team.

Wonder what changed?
 
They take points away from us bcuz of the schedule and we struggled in wins....yet Florida is ahead of us with a loss.....wouldnt that kinda be struggle? lol

I was just reading the article and once I saw Texas and Florida at 1 and 2 I closed it. That was the first time I went on Espn in weeks.

As usual ESPN is just trying to stir the pot. We all know clearly who the greatest team ever to play and it was the 2001Canes. There is no debate, end of story. These jackasses are just trying to get clicks. They also know that the U is no longer down, so they have to do something to earn a few nickels.

I often find comment sections of online articles better than the article itself. At least there you get both sides and some fact checking.
