ESPN on qb battle

I mean that the NCAA lives off money they make from the schools they're supposed to be regulating. How hard would you try to enforce rules that were going to hurt your paycheck?

It wasn't meant as a direct reply to what you wrote, more of a related comment.
So more to the latter part of my response, which I understand and agree. Something needs to be done though, all teams/schools should have an equal opportunity and level playing field. I get it that certain schools are bigger, generate more money but it's getting worse. Maybe a spending cap on coaching salaries along with paying players. There is always back door deals but with an organization that turns a blind eye to it, it will never be truly competitive.

Yeah, I'll be the first to say there probably isn't much you can do, but ****. They don't even pretend to try to curb spending. Even if it was only the above board stuff like facilities, how can you have competitive sports when some teams have such a huge advantage?

I think that all you can do is drive the spending further underground, but they should at least try. How about doing a legit investigation into illegal payments to HS kids once in awhile? I think your idea would at least be a start, but nobody wants to hassle the gift horse.

We weren’t throwing Heisman candidates up there, but our OL has sucked since early 2000’s and our qbs have been punching bags. Especially Kaaya. Skill positions have been ok, not great, but we have to one of the lowest TOPs of any offense on Big 5.

Just wow.

As I said, I don't think UM fans know what a QB is supposed to look like, and I haven't seen a decent QB around these parts in about 20 years.

Brock - I feel bad for you - you don't know good when you see it either.
He definitely doesn't know what a good steak tastes like eating that shoe leather drowned with sauce.

Shea patterson got a response on his waiver in late april last year. Its crazy how fast they responded with fields.

Dorsey was the last good QB we’ve had. Period. Berlin Harris Morris Kayaa Rozier, had moments but ultimately were avg to below avg at best.
