ESPN on qb battle

I’m not seeing this failed to develop qb argument for a decade? We had a bad year in 2018 but that’s about it since 2010. He’ll even rosier was productive in 2017. Jacory was solid in 2011, Morris was good in 2012-2013. Kaaya was good 2014-16, rosier had a good year in 2017.

Vegas will know before anyone. Watch the pointspread. If we suddenly jump from +8.5 to, say, +7 you will know why.

None of those lines are "real" lines...they're look ahead lines with very low limits. They won't move much right now because you can't bet enough at the moment to get real attention from the books. Once the limits are opened later this year to take meaningful bets, Martell will be factored in.

That is true this is a low limit line and not the true opener, but even low limit lines move almost instantaneously based on new info.

Yeah, didn't mean to make it sound like it was immovable. If half of UF's team had limb amputations, the line would certainly close. I'm just saying you can't go put 10K on this line right now anywhere in Vegas, and to be honest I don't even think Martell being announced at eligible or ineligible would move it much.

Just wow.

As I said, I don't think UM fans know what a QB is supposed to look like, and I haven't seen a decent QB around these parts in about 20 years.

Brock - I feel bad for you - you don't know good when you see it either.

Exactly, we're about to start spring practice and have no idea if the potential starting QB can take valuable reps. I really wish some entity would take over or supercede the NCAA.

Don't be crazy, more bureaucracy would just make things worse.

Abolish the NCAA.

I guess whether or not our QBs were developed depends on how high of a ceiling we think each QB had.

They mean we haven't been winning.

But you can't have the inmates writing the guard's paychecks if you want any oversight.
Not sure if I understand you completely. Are you referring to the athletes getting paid or in an off way, agreeing with me? That's a whole other issue but I do believe the athletes should be paid. I know that opens a whole other box though. Maybe you're referring to the money generated by the puppet schools, I agree that has to be checked; the NCAA is obviously corrupt.

I mean that the NCAA lives off money they make from the schools they're supposed to be regulating. How hard would you try to enforce rules that were going to hurt your paycheck?

It wasn't meant as a direct reply to what you wrote, more of a related comment.
