LOL at Cuse, they about to go back down to earth and Clemson is going to def stomp them this year IMO.
Wasn't specifically talking about that game but in general. No big deal if he is, just an observation.Based on his post practice interview today,I think they wanted him to read and react or watch the perimeter during this game.If he's allowed to cut loose, he will have 12 sacks this year in the Coastal.
Let’s not forget the 36 tfls. That’s more tfls and sacks Rashan Gary had in 3 years total and he played linebackerThrough 41 games of his career Shaq has 11.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1FR, and 1int. He is solid but he doesn’t make enough plays
9-3? There is no way that we should not finish at least 10-2. If we get pass UNC, in which we have two weeks to prepare for, we have a month before we play our next ACC game on 10/05 and almost 2 months before we play a road ACC game on 10/26. We start the ACC stretch with 3 straight home games! It's been said many times, but this schedule is set up for us to have a great season.
The tell, will be how we come out against UNC. Normally, there is huge improvement in performance between games 1 and 2. If we handle UNC like we should, 10-2 should not just be doable, it should be at the very minimum, expected.
can't bring this up doesn't fit the narrativeLet’s not forget the 36 tfls. That’s more tfls and sacks Rashan Gary had in 3 years total and he played linebacker
I like Shaq, but I haven't seen enough in his three years to think he's ACC player of the year quality. Great leader, and I'm proud to have him on my team, but POY? I just can't see it.
That’s less than one per game. Look I love Shaq and his attitude. He doesn’t cost us games but he isn’t this all world guy that some fans and media types make him out to be. We play an attacking style of defense so he is going to have a good amount of sacks and tackles for loss. When I think of POY guys I think of guys that change games and dominate and Shaq doesn’t move the needle in that regardLet’s not forget the 36 tfls. You and anyone that agrees didn’t see him play the last two years obviously
Joe Jackson had 36 tfls in 3 years..That’s less than one per game. Look I love Shaq and his attitude. The last pure LB to win DPOY in the ACC was Luke Kuechly. Shaq isn't that caliber of player which is all @Dutch is trying to say.You and anyone that agrees didn’t see him play the last two years obviously
He was also a backup his freshman yearJoe Jackson had 36 tfls in 3 years..
I just can't see a scenario in which we lose 3 more games, at least not with this years schedule. We are a lot closer to an 9-3 or 8-4 team then we are 11-1 or 10-2, imo.

I didn't say he wasn't good, I am saying he has never looked like the **** player of the year. Has he even been discussed for the award the last three years? No. Did he show you anything Saturday night that made you think, "Man, there's the ACC Defensive Player of the Year!!" No. So, again, he's a really good player, but ACC player of the year needs to be dominant. When I think of players of the year, I think Dan Morgan, Ray Lewis, Warren Sapp. When I think of team captain, I think Shaq. He's good, respected, and has a career in the NFL waiting for him. He's just not POY material, unless he just explodes the rest of the year. I sure as heck hope he does. You and anyone that agrees didn’t see him play the last two years obviously
