ESPN needs a new computer

Their computer model is heavily influenced by prior year results.
Wrong. They just have an old fashion conflict of interest. ESPN/abc bought the rights to televise sec football. So guess what ESPN does: promote sec football as much as possible because sec fan bases are massive, they bring a lot of eyeballs, and bring in more add money. I think if you use that framework you’ll be able to see thing connections more clearly.

Yes I’m saying their model has some one shifting the results after it’s calculated the t25. Or has a person manually weighting the model in favor of the sec. It’s intentionally rigged. Suprised this is somehow legal

I’m saying ESPN has their reporters votin sec in the ap and skewing their news media in bias of the sec, they have a dog in the fight

I continue to not understand the Ole Miss love. I mean, they're a fine enough team, but the FPI has them 6th, and Sagarin has them 5th.

The combined records of the 3 teams that beat them is 17-16

look at heather dinich's Projecting the College Football Playoff series she does every week. In it she says," Miami's Nov. 9 loss at Georgia Tech could continue to haunt it, as the selection committee will compare the common opponent with Georgia after next week. If Georgia beats rival Georgia Tech soundly in its regular-season finale, the committee could drop Miami behind Georgia and the two-loss SEC teams."
Funny how that works about categorizing miami's one loss against georgia tech then going on to say how if a 2 loss georgia team beats georgia tech miami could be dropped in ranking. All this dressing to give a the perception of fair and minimally biased reporting. What she neglects is the other common opponenet georgia and miami have in common, florida. Georgia struggled with the gator and was trailing in the 3rd and tied with 4 minutes remaining in the game. She neglects to say the miami was beating the gator 41-17 and was about to punch another TD win in a blow out game with a common opponent. Wonder why she doesnt mention this then justify her article based on this.

The Miami offense that showed up against louiville and defense that showed up agains Wake/the gator beats this UGA hands down. The offense that showed up against georgia tech and defense against louiville gets smoked.

Do you guys get what this ranking is? Its not ranking how teams deserve to be ranked (which is what the AP Poll is supposed to be, in theory) but instead is a Vegas ranking of who will be favored against who in a neutral site matchup. Yes Miami should and will be ranked higher than this by the CFP committee, but Vegas would have us as dogs against the teams above us in this ranking.

Power ratings do influence the committee but they are balanced by a "deserved" consideration.

The committee also gets proprietary analytics that are not fully public though.

My guess is Miami is getting more respect from the committee than SMU because the analytics they have are showing Miami is the #1 offense in the country by a fair margin and that is not the type of team they want to leave out of a playoff.

The committee also gets games to watch that are “edited by ESPN.” You know, since they don’t have time to watch all the games.

How heather dinich gonna make a sandwich out of this SEC shît show? This score holds uga is 1-1 in the acc, .500 ball club won’t even make the ACC championship game
