ESPN mock draft: Mauigoa #2 overall, Bain #7

Don’t see either going that high. Especially not Bain but let’s hope.

Bain will need to take it to another level this year to be picked in the 1st
One must take such ratings with a grain of salt --- CIS

Oh wait, they are in our favor, ignore sodium entirely -- CIS

Let's hope they both play to that level at Miami this season.

Whew Clemson is getting a lot of hype.

No way Klub is taken 1st overall. Nuss has a way better arm. Klub may not even be a first rounder. Clemson got beaten by every good team they played last season sans SMU.

UGA completely destroyed them, Texas ran it all over them for like 300 yards beat them by 14, Louisville ran it down their gullet beat them in Clemson by 12, and they lost at home to South Carolina.

Like i think they can be a top 10 team, but the hype is little too much for me.

Mauigoa taken about 14 seems right to me, Bain around 28th-32nd seems right. Beck could play his way back into first, he has more arm talent than Klubnik,

They had a Charmin soft conference schedule. Avoided the entire top half of the ACC, basically.

hoping for a healthy and elite season from these boys and our team this will do great things for the program if we start back placing kids in the first round yearly that’s the sign of a healthy program.
Care to explain the thumbs down?

I disagree on your view of Bain being a second rounder as long as he’s healthy and productive and has good explosive traits at the combine he should go first round and fairly high. It’s not impossible for him to be second rd but last year was a mulligan for me understanding how a hamstring injury works it’s hard to comeback from in season.

He wasn’t good last year. He needs to step up this year to solidify his first round spot. Played last year overweight as well. A good portion of this board would agree.

Man y'all writing off Francis too easily. He's 100% going top 15, likely top 10. A 3 year starter at RT who has improved dramatically each year. Don't forget he's a special athlete and can do rare things physically that only the top guys can do. He'll get comparisons to Penei Sewell all draft cycle which Mario will sell as well. My guess is he ends up going top 5 when it's all said and done.

Bain however, is more likely to go round 2 than top 10 imo. Having Bain at 7 is kind of crazy, you don't go top 10, unless you are a freak athlete or have size. He has neither. I love Bain and hope he can stay healthy but he's kind of a tweener in the NFL.

Great to see Canes getting love though! Big year for these guys.

Bain is a first rounder if he gets back to freshman year form

6 of the top 10 come from the ACC, more specifically Clemson and Miami, with another top 10 from Big12. Wild.

Looking at this Mock as well, lots of Alabama, so it'll be interesting after this year most of Saban recruits and development will be aged out or drafted, so that program will see what's left of it post Saban.
