A couple commits made a jump in the new ESPN 300 rankings

Top Risers

No. 70 Chad Thomas (Miami/Booker T. Washington), DE
Prior ranking: No. 125
The Miami commit has flashed his high-ceiling ability, even though he is playing inside more than half the snaps as a senior. His combination of first-step quickness, arm length and the ability to play with low pad level sets him apart from most ends in the class.

No. 128 Brad Kaaya (Hollywood, Calif./Chaminade College Prep)
Prior ranking: No. 171
The 6-4, 213-pound Miami commit is one the fastest rising quarterbacks in the class. Has added bulk to his tall frame, and continues to show the foot quickness, foot work and quick release that will be demanded of him at the next level.

ESPN 300 debuts

No. 287 Darrion Owens (Orange Park, Fla./Oakleaf), OLB
The 6-3, 220-pound Owens has transitioned from safety to outside linebacker as a senior without skipping a beat. Long, rangy and with edge-rush ability, the Miami commit is a top senior riser.

something to take note of additionally:

Brad Kaaya is now ranked #4 QB-PP (was previously #9)
Chad Thomas is now ranked #7 DE (was in the high teens)
Darrian Owens is now ranked #17 S (was previously unranked)

those are big jumps which is now why we're the #3 class in the country

Can anyone explain why Valentine keeps declining? It better not be because of a spanish class!

Somebody please explain to me how Berrios,Gray,Jackson,Smith,Young are not top 300 material?

That's just crazy because TV could be the best defensive player in the state. Dude is a beast.

Out of all the "recruiting sites" I would say 247sports is the best if you had to choose one. Wouldnt even pay attention to scout or ESPN as far as player rankings/grades go.

Valentine moved up 2 spots was #12 dt and is now 10th. Berrios was 80 ovr and #55 wr and is now 81 ovr #45 wr. Kc #4ot was #5,darling #9ot was #10,gibbons #17ot was #18, rosier #42qb was #43, Langham #36wr was #40. They have young a 70 overall that's really low.

IF Valentine drops it's only because of level of competition this year. His production has still been good.

They also put out some updated predictions on uncommitted recruits....they have us getting Dixon, Moten, and Sharieff Rhaheed
