Disagree. The only rankings that matter are the current ones. I don’t care about early season wins over teams that were overrated in the pre season poll. The rankings at the end of the year are more indicative of what teams are actually good.

Fair, but 4-0 sounds a lot better than 1-1 (cause Pitt not gonna be ranked next rankings). Still better than ND at 1-2

Why is that dumb? Rankings change week after week, so it doesn't make sense to reference rankings from the past.

Because you play a team at a certain time in the season. You don't play the team they became after your game. Can't control what happens after the game. Stuff like strength of schedule should take into account the totality of the season your opponents had.

That’s cool and i agree with you so they shouldn’t rank teams until week 6-7!
