Clemson is considered the big favorite to win the conference with -700 odds (bet $700 to win $100).

The Miami Hurricanes have the second best odds in the ACC at +750 (bet $100 to win $750). North Carolina is third at +1000 odds while in-state rival Florida State has the fourth best odds at +1800. Virginia Tech and Virginia each are at +2000 odds.

Isn’t it something wild like the preseason favorite has never won the Coastal until UVA did it last year? I think we should be happy about this.

Didn't VT just lose a bunch of dudes from last year or am I drunk?
Yes. Their program is in shambles. I think there is a legitimate chance they could finish sub.500... even with Liberty, North Alabama and Middle Tenn on their schedule. Though, of course, they play neither Clemson nor FSU.

Unc, Virginia, VT, Pitt, Ga Tech, Duke, Miami. We actually should have lost to all those teams last year. Pitt was a fluke and a half and Virginia couldn't get in the endzone.

No surprise.... And remember, y'all laughed at their predictions last yr. So please be humble.

Va Tech & UNC are the two most overrated teams I've ever seen in my life.

They only get the benefit of the doubt because of how bad we've been, but neither one of those teams are anything more than average.

Idgaf about Sam Howell, yes he had a good TF season, but UNC being looked at as some new upcoming juggernaut is bogus IMO. I got UNC losing to UCF, Auburn, Duke, Miami & NC St in an upset. Their Defense is still trash AF.

I don't believe Fuente will have them playing well either, they don't have the Bud Foster Defenses of old, their new DC Justin Hamilton has never called plays before in P5 football & while they do have Tracy Claeys as their LB's coach, they don't have the DB's or the pass rush that Va Tech used to have that made them a legit Defense for all those years.

Both teams in my opinion are at best 8 win teams. Am I biased Canes fan, of course, but on paper I sincerely don't see either team as more talented or more capable than us.

Just as its been every year since we joined the ACC, the difference will be Coaching & QB play, for the first time in decades we finally have a legit OC & QB combo, to go with arguably one of the top 2 DL's in the conference.
