ESPN article on the U

It comes off as sexist, but the two young women they've had running the ACC blog for the last 7-8 years have been abysmal. They wish everyone was FSU, the ACC was the SEC, etc. Their analysis is skin deep and uninspiring.

Spot on. Let me counter your first sentence though. It'd actually be sexist of us to NOT call them out for their atrocious coverage and opinions. Problem is that this conference (in football at least) has been subject to too many "journalists" with SEC roots or that are too feeble minded to do their jobs without always falling into lazy national media type group think and narratives.

I agree. It would be sexist for us to give them a free pass for their ****ty journalism JUST BECAUSE they are females.

The Dinich-Adelson combo has been absolutely terrible for the past 5+ years.

GIVE US A REAL JOURNO, ESPN!!!

They are very different.. Andrea sticks up for the ACC while Heathers job is to track the playoffs now.. which means a ton of hot air until after the Conference Champs games are played... in other words - I tune her out.. especially after she treated her own beat like crap.

Saying da bozos Miami have on da O-line gonna be vastly improved cause the earth will have completed another revolution around da sun since the *** kicking they took last season ain't right. Can't make chicken salad outa chicken sh*t. It will be a vast improvement IMO if they just refrain from having their pictures taken in hoemoesexually suggestive poses.

actually u are wrong. just a few years ago pre sam bradford with a line of mostly sophmores and freshman oklahoma got killed they went i believe 8-5 or worse then the next year with all that experiance were one of the top olines in country as team rebounded to go 11-1 its shown to be true with other teams also

0experiance on oline matter.s that and better coaching searles is better then kehoe period will help plus st louis and milo will make a run to be the top ot's on team. mcdermott will be a full year removed from acl surgery also which will help him.

Them saying our entire secondary is gone immediately ruins any credibility to this article. Considering corn, jenkins, and carter have all played tons of minutes for us.

All of them started last year too, those guys are amateurs lol

Not really. Our Defensive Backfield is in a really bad situation. Sure Jamal Carter has potential and I like him, but hasn't proven **** yet. Corn obviously is our best returning DB, but its not like he was lock down. Losing Crawford actually makes our team better. Jenkins is average.
We need to hope That Jaquan Johnson and Redwine step the **** up this year.

I'm the last guy to say anything sexist, but those two dopey ***** have small feet specifically so they can stand closer to the kitchen sink and stove. Their football acumen makes Erik Marrero look like an amalgamation of Ron Jaworski and Mike Mayock.

Why do we have to catch Clemson to make the ACC title game? They're not in our division and we don't play them.

Haven't you seen the bozo's on here recently talking about the monumental task of getting there because Miami has to play FSU every year, and well, that's just not fair. They always forget to mention how Miami sits squarely in the worst division of any conference in the Power 5. Not to mention, these are the same tough guys who said it was a must that Miami kept it's yearly matchup with FSU after leaving the BE for the ACC. Now they are crying about it because fans don't realize how dumb it is to put additional road blocks in front of you every year when you are competing for titles.

If we could Lose fewer than 4 games in the acc every year, we'd make the championship game 80% of the time, so I fail to see what fsu has to do with it.

Agreed or we need JC jackson in the worst way if we are to win the coastal.

I can't remember much, if any, Cane fan whining about this.
I would like to know where you come up with this nonsense and what SEC, or SEC wannabe (aka., fsu), program you support.
But you're deservedly banned.

You cant be serious? To think or believe JC Jackson is the key for Miami winning the Coastal....

First I think every team in Coastal got better over the offseason with their new coaches. That will make it much tougher for Mark Richt to win the coastal without a complete team. Right now this team still has big question marks at CB and OL.

The CB depth is god awful in terms of numbers and quality. Every team will spread Miami out and take advantage of Micheal Jackson, Mayes, and Henley. Bringing JC in will allow us to keep Henley or Mayes on the bench which can only help in winning the Coastal.

You seriously think when a team goes 5 wide or 4 wide at receiver the defense sends 5 corners to cover them? F_ck no..... Lol.... At the most they would send 3 corners and have a safety and a linebacker cover one of them....

No they don't, ever heard of a dime packages? Most teams play them with CB's. Only your boy Golden was dumb enough to stay in his base defense against 5 WR sets.
