-He decommitted from Tennessee but not because he wasn't interested anymore but he wanted to check other schools out but didn't feel right doing it while being committed ( rare a kid thinks like that).

- He's 6'2 190

- He got an offer from UF but that wasn't a factor even though it was reported as the reason. He only talked to them 1 time before them and the communication must not have been good because he wasn't even aware of an offer until a reporter told him in an interview.

-He won't take trips until after his season is over but he has an idea of who's inline for it. "I like Miami, I do like Florida too but I think I like Miami more than them.

- UW and ASU should get visits too and UCLA if they offer.

- He hasn't talked to UM that much but he spoke to Carroll a month ago. He's been keeping track of the team and they're doing really good. He thinks he can go in, fit in and succeed. He didn't expect UM to win this much this year

- He was worried about the NCAA decision, he thought we would get harder with sanctions but isn't that bad. He asked carroll a month back and they were working on it but he's happy UM is in good shape now.

- OT but everywhere I read was that UF was the leader for him so stealing him could be huge because of his talent and sticking it to U****

Meh I dont think we need a JUCO WR.

Dorsett, Scott, Waters, Coley...WOuld rather bring in some highschool guys

Would not be a bad pick up. As long as we get Dixon as our first option, I would not mind picking up experience and skills.

**Lauderdale would have 3 years to play 2 seasons. From Pete in an old article and with many freshmans coming in I dont want to have to count on them too much

We havent learned our lesson yet after suffering injuries in our WR corp this year AND last year. Dorsett is out and Scott must not be ready yet because they held him out against WF. Carter got kicked off. So bascially going into FSU we have Hurns/Coley/Waters and thats it. We need all the depth we can get. You just never know with injuries.

Lot of people said they didn't want a JUCO receiver last year when we were recruiting Jalen Strong. Kid is a beast and would be a Godsend for a dinged up position group now. Skill guys are going to start having more and more injuries with the new targeting rules forcing tacklers to aim low, so we might as well stock the cupboard as full as possible. Regardless of age.

He would be the PERFECT guy to use with Scott being hurt. **** he'd be the #1 wr on the team right now so I dont get why anybody would ever say no to a JUCO wr especially when you have multiple guys that can do their part and leave him 1 on 1 all day

You know who else gave that reason for decommitting? Alex Collins.

I want every single kid who has an offer from Al golden. I love his evals, of both character and ability, and its only gotten sharper since we can be a little picker as things have improved. He knows the team much better, he knows the area and the future classes better. This dude is gonna build this wall back up.

When he graduates is important to UF. It supposedly was also important to UT. If he is going to graduate in May then UF is a lot less interested.

Eric Lauderdale is a beast.... Miami needs all the depth it can get and not all of them needs to be true freshman.

landing a top JUCO WR is perfect

I mean yeah you take the kid, but I just think the spots could be spent better elsewhere, this is assuming of course that Dixon is a Cane. The WR corps while overrated by our fans is still one of the better units on the team. JUCO wise, we need a MLB and another DT.

The coaching staff is still recruiting JUCO DTs and a JUCO LB.... their is going to be more then enough room to get Lauderdale w/o taking it away from another position.
