looks like he's trying to force his way out of NYG

New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman starts house cleaning with dismissal of Marc Ross, waiving of Bobby Hart

Hart, who started seven games at right tackle this season, reportedly told coaches that he would not play in Sunday's season finale against the Washington Redskins. A source told ESPN's Jordan Raanan that starting left tackle Ereck Flowers also told coaches he would not play against Washington.

Both Hart and Flowers have checked out and are ready for the Giants' season to end, the source said.

The entire Giants OL room is apparently a complete ****show.

Maybe Ereck can find somewhere else to play, but he's a been a total bust there.

You not going to play, you are not getting your pay check, simple as that! What a bunch of spoiled brats.

thing about it is Hart has been way worse than Flowers. Both are marginal nfl players and shouldnt be pulling this sort of stunt...unless they are injured

I don't care what his reason for saying he's not playing - but unless it's injury, it's a BAD look. These guys are getting paid to be professionals, act like it.

move. If they’re hurt that’s different but this just looks like they quit in their teammates.

Flowers has been playing a lot better this year. He is still young, isn't he only like 23 or 24?

Dude shouldn't be a LT though. Should be a RT or Guard.

Shaun O'Hara, Chris Snee, Dave Diehl, Rich Seubert...Man, what has happened to the days when the Giant OL was a real UNIT.

Exactly. Players should understand how valuable they actually are. Not what they were in high school or college.

Flowers was drafted on potential. Surely was not based on quality of his play with the Canes.

According to Giant fans, Flowers been sitting out da last 4 fuggin years. One mo game who give a dam.

before the season Hart stated he was the best rt in the league. Hes a guy im surprised even made it to the nfl..shows his thought process.

Dolphins should revive Flowers at RT...Hes likely better than Jawan James or will definately cost less

They cut Hart because his cap hit is only $18k per year bc his signing bonus was so low.

Just about half of Flowers' cap hit next year ($2.2M of $4.6M) is dead money from his bonus if they cut him.
