Ereck Flowers cut by the Giants

50/50 whether flowers gets another shot.hopefully this was his wake-up call if not he has seen his last snap in the nfl.

He will definitely get another shot and who knows, but truthfully he was over matched at both left and right tackle.

Giants passed on Todd Gurley and Melvin gordon for him..saquon is a beast but this year pick could have used been used on a Qb.

As I read through articles, he had issues with laziness, technique and overall couldn't block anyone at all. Hopefully, he will change his mindset and get his act together. He was terrible for the giants. I rooted for him hard and hoped he would get it together, truthfully he didn't. Failure on Giants and Flowers.
One of my best friends is a Giants fan (me Eagles). I got an earful the past few years at how bad Flowers has been for the Giants. I don't know what happened to him, but he was terrible for them.

Tbh i dont think any nfl picks him up....maybe they do but theres a chance they dont as well if they watch film

Dude, someone's going to pick him up. I've watched enough Giants games, and even then I'd still take a chance on Flowers as just about our entire O-line is injured. The Giants offensive line is bad in so many ways, so it wouldn't be surprising if other teams think they could develop him into a solid RT. Just saying, for a former 1st round pick who's 24, someone's going to take a chance.

It's seems to me watching him every week, that he is slow mover off the ball at the get go, consistently gets beat, holds, kicks and according to reporting has issues other than poor play.

I'm torn. As a Canes fan, I wish he played better. As an Eagles fan of 20+ years, I wish they'd keep him.

Seriously, I hope he gets himself together.

You might be right but we'll see when he goes somewhere else. The dude was a monster in college and played against FSU the same week he got his knee scoped. He's a tough kid. Maybe he hates life in New York. I know I would.
College and nfl two different things....hes a bust

If u dont watch giants games dont drop your two cents.....Flowers lost that job because of himself nothing else. That dude was a bust period anyone saying otherwise is a complete homer. It had nothing to do with development he sucks

Exactly. Eli protection has been way better with his *** on the bench.

No rich young black male is going to hate life in NYC. He wouldn't be the first guy who was good in college to be a total bust. He was the worst guy on the entire OL for the Giants.

Slightly disagree. I, like you, watch a ton of snaps at NCAA and NFL level. My first point was questioning whether or not NYG has the appropriate development program in-place to make the most of their 1st rd investment. How does he learn? What morivates him? I surely dont know, but if I dropped 1st rd $$$$ on him, either I would have all that answered before the draft or adjusted fire with him if the status quo wasnt working.

My second point on the other hand, maybe (ok most likely) NYG did everything right with Flowers and he just cant "get it" or has been exposed as not having the physical tools to perform as an NFL member.

They adjusted fine. They benched his *** and the line became a lot better.

Actually , it would be New Jersey. The stadium is in NJ. I don't think any players actually live in NYC. Maybe he hates the Golden.... I mean Garden State. I lived there 20 years. I like SoFlo much better.
