Ereck Flowers cut by the Giants

Good, maybe he can go to a better team...Giants under Stalag Coughlin developed Siebert, Snee, Diehl, etc. New regime? Not so much.
 
Either The New York Football Giants failed in their OT development program or Flowers isn't an NFL quality talent.

With his play, surprised it took this long.

Hopefully he can make the moat of a 2d chance if given.
 
As I read through articles, he had issues with laziness, technique and overall couldn't block anyone at all. Hopefully, he will change his mindset and get his act together. He was terrible for the giants. I rooted for him hard and hoped he would get it together,truthfully he didn't. Failure on Giants and Flowers.
 
Ereck is only 24 years old, anybody that thinks he won't be picked up by another team is crazy.

There's a scarcity of lineman in the league, there are undrafted FA's who are starting, there's no way teams that have issues all along the line won't give Flowers a chance.

Yeah he struggled a lot with the Giants, but teams like Carolina, Seattle, Arizona, the Colts, Niners & Raiders could all use help at Tackle, even if it's just for backup depth due to injury.

****, I'd love for my Ravens to bring him in, aside from Ronnie Stanley we could use another Tackle, we got James Hurst & drafted Orlando Brown Jr but we could still use a talent like Flowers & shuffle the line around for more depth.

Ironically, Seantrel's out for the season, so maybe the Texans are in the market for a LT.

But real talk, I always thought Flowers would've been better on D.
 
He's been a bust but the Giants are a mess all around. Maybe a change of scenery will do him some good.
 
50/50 whether flowers gets another shot.hopefully this was his wake-up call if not he has seen his last snap in the nfl.
 
He will get another shot, he’s young but he needs to do some souls searching because he was awful the last couple years.

If u dont watch giants games dont drop your two cents.....Flowers lost that job because of himself nothing else. That dude was a bust period anyone saying otherwise is a complete homer. It had nothing to do with development he sucks

This. The Jags lost Cam Robinson and Josh Wells for the season. No chance he gets past them on the waiver wire.

You might be right but we'll see when he goes somewhere else. The dude was a monster in college and played against FSU the same week he got his knee scoped. He's a tough kid. Maybe he hates life in New York. I know I would.

Dudes playing against nfl talent weekly....hes just not good. NYG got a beast gm he knows whats he doing and they need like four years to fix that mess
