i think manny knows he can fix the D. the biggest issue this year was by far the O. it wasnt the only issue, but it was the largest and cost us many games. this move also tells me that he was unhappy with the QB play all around.

We can absorb a couple of seasons sucking if Manny recruits well enough to stay afloat while he figures out HCing. I never liked him as a hire (mostly because I want to win now) and I knew he wouldnt get his staff right on the first shot... we'll see what happens now... hopefully a bowl win and a couple of key recruits to go with a top notch OC.

No it wasn’t, no matter how bad the offense was they still handed the defense leads in the 4th quarter yet in 5 of our 6 losses the defense gave up a td right after being handed a lead late in the game. That’s on the defense period, can’t depend on them when you need them the most and that’s a problem. So no it’s not by far the offense was a problem, the defense issues are even worse because they couldn’t hold up during crunch time and actually lost us games in the 4th quarter
