Throughout the board I keep seeing many curious about the Enos offense.

Yes you can go back and watch entire old Arkansas games on YouTube. But a few fans made “Offense only” videos.

I’ll share some I watched last night. You all can get a feel his play designs, plays he calls in short yardage, goal line, down and distance etc.

Watch his QBs. Brandon Allen, Austin Allen, and Cole Kelley. Which QBs from Miami do you believe can run the offense that he running based off of the videos?

Look at how he uses his TEs and fullbacks. Envision our roster and the opponents we play.

Across the board no matter the season or roster you see similar play designs at Arkansas.

2015
Arkansas vs Auburn

2016
Arkansas vs TAMU

Arkansas vs Alabama

2017
Arkansas vs Auburn

Quick Notes
- You can clearly see he uses two tight ends and even a full back very often. (For those who had questions)

- His OL moves a lot, via pulling or shifting the pocket to the left or right post snap.

- There is always a check down guy. Notice how the TEs and full backs always leak out. For easy completions.

- His QBs have mobility. They roll out and move a ton post snap by design. Enos even calls 5-6 designed QB runs per game. I hardly saw his QBs just sit and do the pocket pass thing. The have mobility in the pocket.

- His runs to the outside are deadly. Enos pitch game is deadly. But those interior run designs off the guards leaves a lot to be desired. I’m not expected 10+ yards between the guards. But 4-5 yards on the regular wouldn’t be bad there. His short yardage game gets stuffed or TFL on those designs regularly. Given Miami’s OL woes for years I expect that to continue.

- His offenses screen game is nice.

- Enos makes a lot of easy pitch and catch type options for his QB with his play designs. The only way a Miami QB doesn’t complete 60% of passes in this offense is if they are freelancing. Straight up. Watch the pass plays and notice how there is always someone else open. Either with the check down or whatever. Hopefully the guy is on the roster to see the entire field and not just take the deep throw with a TE wide open underneath.

- Overall I think this offense will be a good fit for Miami especially against ACC. Should be able to confuse most coastal opponents.

Beat Florida, then beat FSU @ Doak and I think you’ll be surprised how high this team can go.

Miami should be undefeated at home in 2019.

I think our “trap” game is actually Louisville. They got the coach from Appalachian state who won a **** of a lot of ball games there. He could emerge to be one of the better coaches in the ACC as well. The game is late enough in the season that he’ll have his personnel rolling by then.

But seriously man, if you beat Florida and FSU with a improved offense we are running the table enough of this dropping games against inferior teams ****.

Clemson and Miami both undefeated in the ACCCG. We probably still get worked in that game. It will be hyped, but the talent levels are definitely different this year.

If Miami gets another Clemson level talented team in the NY6 bowl we could finish out 12-2 for Manny’s first year.

I think we would all take that. Opens the floodgates for recruiting and get some holes patched up at OL, LB, DT.

w our schedule, we should be at worst, a 2 loss team, heading into charlotte (that's worst case scenario). i do think, if it all breaks right, a 1 loss season could happen w the offense getting better as the year goes on. UF is just a tough first game breaking in an OL and OC (including a first time HC) w essentially a new QB since everyone is learning the system.

Keep hitting the tes and rb the safeties will start to creep up and you than start attacking the deep middle. Can't wait to see wr run different routes other than go routes. Give qb a little time and watch this offense go.

I wouldn’t be surprised if 12-0 happens. All depends on UF and FSU games to me. Beat both and I think the odds of it happening increases exponentially. I don’t think Miami would lose a Pitt type of game down the stretch.

This team either goes 12-0, 11-1 or 9-3 in my opinion in the regular season. Yes I skipped the 10-2 option. I think if Miami was to lose to both UF and FSU they will drop some random game as well.

Im more optimistic based off the fairly weak schedule.

Ask yourself what any top 25 teams record would be if they played our schedule this year in this ACC coastal?

No seriously....

With Enos' history, and the athletes he'll have available, I don't see a real possibility for the just putrid offense that they had last year. The main issue was at QB, and every QB Enos has coached has improved. Hopefully the QB's can limit the mistakes, especially early in the season, accepting more check downs, until they get more comfortable with the offense in game situations. Check downs won't make highlights, but 4-5 yards is better than negative plays or turnovers, and will keep the chains moving.

OP, great stuff. If our offense has a pulse and can rank in the top 30, our defense will be able to play downhill the entire season against everyone. That's huge.

I think Enos is a better "caller" than a "designer." Nothing wrong with his design, it's just fairly traditional with a few twists and turns and motions and shifts for different reasons . . . a weak OL is going to be trouble for him . . . but his strength is his ability to play "football poker" , , , that, alone, puts us way, way ahead of last year as far as the ACC is concerned . . .

I am hoping he learned ALOT at Bama and incorporates a ton of that offense (mind you if you watch bama film you see alot of his fingerprints, just from pistol and such). I love the 2 TE stuff, but FB type offense in college football in freaking 2019 just gives me a headache unless its situational football (3rd and short, goal line, milk clock, etc.)

USC even LSU have given up on that and have gone spread. These are teams that get Top oline and nationally recruit. You are just making offense harder on yourself by having bodies in the box. Defenses relax and just love when that happens. Love Enos hire and hope he sticks to what Diaz announced he wanted when he originally began the search, wide open offense that gets our playmakers ball in space.

Well the 12-0 isn’t happening but I did see a lot of the things I mentioned here last night.

His interior run designs are still garbage to me. His outside runs were designed nicely again.
