I think we have something good with Diaz and Enos.
They keep saying the right things, Enos quote:
"Florida didnt do anything we were not prepared for. Actually they played a lot softer than we thought."

Maybe the lights or the youth betrayed the players but I think the coaches know what they are doing. At least they speak with a lot of confidence and conviction.

I think He was talking about their coverage being soft. I knew Zuniga was good but I didnt Expect or maybe just underestimated greenard being that good in addition to ventrel miller at linebacker who made plays

Yeah, I'm guessing he meant coverage. I mean, more power to him if he meant uf are a bunch of pssies, but I don't think that's what he was getting at.

They probably expected a lot of Franks runs, but I think they're not letting up on these kids because they see a need for toughness and a lack of internal leadership.

He was talking about coverage. We have some dumb fans.
But he did say "nothing they did surprised us".

Is he still referring to the coverages?

No way could he be referring to bum rush his qb experienced, right? Surely he would have called different plays then.

If that's true, why did he fail to make any adjustments?

Remember he's learning as he goes, he'll do better next time. It's just the first game.

I think the jortsville defense, on a scale of 1-10, is about a 7 in regards to top caliber P5 teams. Their luxury was feasting on an OL that we knew lacked quality Tackles. Given all that we scored 20 and missed another couple ops to kick field goals and touchdowns. We will be fine as a team and I'm excited. Campbell, Nelson and Herbert each are gonna have to get better and fast. No two ways about it. Teams will come hard at us off the edge and do stunts to confuse our tackles ( do I take the looping DT or the LB coming off the edge). Gotta coach them up.

Maybe harder to make adjustments with so many young players. Maybe have to be more basic, plain vanilla.

Miami had every opportunity to win that game.

So did Florida. Two fumbles; one inside the 10-yard line. Two Franks' interceptions, as well. The made their share of mistakes, as well.

Sloppy game. Canes were just five points sloppier.

Misleading title of your thread. The actual quote, as opposed to what you incorrectly wrote, is .... “Actually they played a lot softer IN THE SECONDARY than we thought.”
