Playing 40 decent minutes (or better than decent) every game, even where we lose. 8 games straight now where we played at least a decent 40 minutes of bball. Prior to these past 8 games, we went through a streak of 4 of 5 where we had at least a terrible half (most of the game against Wake, second half against Duke, second half against BC, second half against FSU). Consistency is huge for a young team.

Also, I noticed that we've given up 80+ only once the entire season. Best in the ACC.

This team has grown and gotten much better. They just competed on the road against a team which shot over 50%, was lethal from 3, got basically every call, and we were still right there in the end when our best players did not play well. Our defense is on another level right now. If we can move the ball better this team could make some noise in the tourney and build momentum for a real run at the Final Four next year.

VT also lost only 1 home game all season and we were coming off one day of rest. Basically the chips were stacked against us, and we still played pretty well.
