Here's my way to early drunk and blind monkey throwing darts speculation of how Miami's season unfolds.

I had expected Miami to shake the catastrophic atmospherics that have plaqued this program for 20+ years, but that just hasn't been the case in the Cristoball era. Until proven otherwise, by him or another head corch, that trend will continue.

Brace for disappointment.

I'm not saying below will happen, but it is well within a reasonable prediction.

8-5, no ACCCG, no CFPO appearance

Remember, with a single loss in ACC play, our Canes chances to appear in ACCCG drop to almost nil. As in 0%.

• Week 1
: Sun, 31 Aug – Notre Dame – Hard Rock Stadium - L
• Week 2: Sat, 6 Sep – Bethune-Cookman – Hard Rock Stadium - W
• Week 3: Sat, 13 Sep – USF – Hard Rock Stadium - W
• Week 4: Sat, 20 Sep – Florida – Hard Rock Stadium - W
• Week 5: Open Date
• Week 6: Sat, 4 Oct – at Florida State* – Doak Campbell Stadium - W
• Week 7: Open Date
• Week 8: Fri, 17 Oct – Louisville* – Hard Rock Stadium - L
• Week 9: Sat, 25 Oct – Stanford* – Hard Rock Stadium - W
• Week 10: Sat, 1 Nov – at SMU* – Gerald J. Ford Stadium - W (nail biter)
• Week 11: Sat, 8 Nov – Syracuse* – Hard Rock Stadium - L
• Week 12: Sat, 15 Nov – NC State* – Hard Rock Stadium - W
• Week 13: Sat, 22 Nov – at Virginia Tech* – Lane Stadium - L
• Week 14: Sat, 29 Nov – at Pittsburgh* – Acrisure Stadium - W

And then another L in the Who-Gives-A-**** Bowl.

Syracuse has no QB and lost a ton. they will be lucky to keep our game within 10.

If we're being honest, if we didn't have Cam Ward last year, we might have won 4 games. After watching Beck play, I don't see him as the QB that can get us to 10 wins. However, if our D takes a massive leap forward, he won't have to.

I just don't see our D going from patsy to nasty in one year. But if they do, we have a shot at the ACC. That is a really, really big if.

No way Cuse beats us.

I'd say this record- regardless of who the Ls come against would be our most pessimistic outlook.

Assuming Beck is healthy I think people are sleeping on us. I'm an eternal optimist but I think next year could be like tee Martin the year after peyton Manning

Hitting the sauce early this morning ehh?...

I could see something like that as a possibility. Especially if Beck has a major set back with his elbow. Barring any transfer QB who wants to sit back up for Beck.
I assumed everyone stays "healthy-ish".

Beck goes down, not to worry, Miami has Emory DAW GAWD.

Miami ALWAYS finds a way to Miami meng.

But point taken. Just mix and match Stanford, Syracuse, NC State, and Pitt.

Using history as a guide, our Canes will find a way to **** it up.
State champs though .. ... ******* up would be losing to FSU. Everything else is plausible + or - 2.

I'm stone cold sober, sans the devils lettuce.

We do have a history of “Miami’ing” but that’s more likely when you rely on an offense imo. If we have a legit D, miamiing becomes less likely. That said, give me a DT,S and LB.

If Carson is hurt or not fully recovered, then yes. But this is probably a team with a floor of 9-3, and with an outside shot of running the table.

Wait so after watching beck play in 2023 you think he can't get us to 10 wins. WOW

Having the QB advantage in every single game this year and saying we could lose 5 games is wild to me lol

Remember the jump our defense had from 2015 to 2016 ? That's more or less what I expect. If it happens and Beck is more 2023 Beck instead of last year version 8 wins is likely the floor.

If we beat Notre Shame we roll everyone until SMU . If we lose to SMU we could be in for another bull**** finish dropping a couple more , maybe NC St and Pitt or Vag Tech…if we beat SMU we’re undefeated in the playoffs ……and if we start the year losing to @FlatlandCane and his Irish then we’ll be 8-4 / 7-5
