Miami (FL) 38–17

Last week was a bye (no pick). Week 5 pick: 35–17, actual 41–13.

What Say You?: Can Miami (FL)'s 9.8 PAPG defense keep Ashton Daniels under 20 points — or does the dual-threat (10 rush TD) force a shootout?

Did I Make It All Up?: ACC stats; UM schedule; ESPN team/stats; SI / FSU Wire / Tomahawk Nation (injuries); CanesInSight reporting, PFF data (snap counts). Stats as of Thu Oct 15, 2026 ET.

Dare say how ridiculous would our stats would look in comparison to theirs if we hadn’t pulled our starters for most of the first 3 of the first 4 games.
I doubt they pulled their starters for more than a play or two and a lot of ours especially the skill guys missed as much as 6-8 quarters.

I know we did the right thing by pulling starters when we did ( we could have scored 125 against Fla. A&M and 80 against Cent. Michigan.but man how crazy would those comparisons look if we’re like them and played our starters for the whole game.
