EMPIRICALLY SPEAKING | Week 4 Preview: Central Michigan at No. 6 Miami (FL)
CMU has zero passing TDs this season. The Canes average 11.0 yards per throw.

My take: CMU is a run-only team walking into a defense that has allowed 2.3 yards per carry and zero rushing TDs all year. If Miami (FL) forces Angel Flores to throw, this gets out of hand early. The one thing that we need to watch is fourth down. CMU is 8 for 9 and isn't afraid to go for it.

Suggestion.....add a spoiler with some wholesome Roman ladies and you are onto something.....
 
They will grind this out to give us the minimum number of possessions... probably won't get more than 5 or 6 possessions per half at best.

Thought that we played a similar boring game last season... don't remember the opponent.
 
I like it. Rather than Break Out Player of the game, I'm going with Break Out Position: at Guard. They have caught some heat, probably tired of hearing about it - aren't up against an overwhelming front and are finally going to show the results of getting coached up. Keeping my fingers crossed so hard they hurt.
 
I’d prefer they sit Fletch. Play Mensah and Mali for 1 quarter only if they insist on padding stats. I want to see a different OL setup. I don’t think this game will tell us much about the defense. The FSU kicker/special teams needs some practice. It wouldn’t surprise me if we got a punt and/or FG blocked in a meaningful game.

Oh, I’ll pick Pringle to go off.

This will continue to be the Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney show. Expect Mali to go 8-150-2

Mallory gets the start at RB1 if Fletcher is limited and he goes for a buck and a tud

Gimme the over 5.5 on Jacob’s/Wingo combined catches.
