We'll learn a lot about our future at QB tonight. We either have the guy on the roster right now or we'll need to hit it big in the portal. Tonight will tell us.

Sucks it is vs best defense we see this year but tonight will tell us a lot

Just hope the kid plays with no fear and Dawson lets him throw the ball

We need a good Emory for WR recruiting too

If we want to take the next step then we have to have a QB that can beat teams like Clemson, so the silver lining is that we'll find out if Emory is that guy or not tonight.

One game will not tell you about a true freshman to that definitive a take.

good or bad.

100% it will. Because Clemson is the bar for us to rise above, if he can do that then we've got something here, if he can't then he never will and we'll know we need to find someone in the portal.

That was 30 years ago times change. Kids are more advanced at an earlier age and offenses are much more simple. Dawson's offense is very very simple. We'll see exactly what Emory has

We were up big all year. Kid should have played full halves. Assuming this kills his red shirt?

Lol, those times don’t change a QBs ability to mentally and emotionally process live bullet plays in games with little to no previous experience at that level. Those things still ultimately make or break a QB regardless of how advanced their physical skill set may be, and it’s impossible to know how quickly those skills evolve until it’s real.
