So Emory has hired a new agent and is working with Pat Mahomes QB coach. Ferman says the staff wants to keep him; he has had 3rd party interest from a number of schools, including the SEC. He has 3 years left. Money is NOT the driving factor; he wants to play. He has a good relationship with Carson Beck.

So now he has to decide.

Wow - wonder what SEC schools have an interest. Wish him well whatever his decision.

IMO Emory is gone. It’s not a secret around the program. I knew about this a few weeks ago and
when I posted and tried to add some subtle comments about it.

That is why it’s so crucial we get someone as a backup with some years who can compete. Nickel will be good but we need someone in the fold this year.
 
Leave or stay, I'm fine.

The one thing I DO NOT want to see: This guy going to a new program, starting, and looking like a real QB.

Nothing would infuriate me more.

Emory is not good.

It doesn't matter where he goes, or what team he plays for, he stinks.

The Miami prospects who excelled at SMU were actually talented, they just didn't work at Miami because they didn't fit the mold of what Mario wants in players.

That's not the case with Emory; he could go to Ohio ST & wouldn't play any better.

His issues are not because of Miami, it's simply due to a lack of ability.

He shouldn't have ever been signed here in the 1st place.
 
My guess is another ACC team on the West Coast. Could be wrong. Or a G5. No SEC or Big10.

Emory is a good kid, very smart, he’s just not athletic and can’t overcome his physical limitations like other QBs.
