Nobody's more upset with them than they are with themselves. No matter how good or bad coaching is, if they're not tackling it's on them.
We are probably drawing you into the deep end of the cesspool so feel free to ignore my next question or any other question, especially if it puts your son in a difficult position since he is obviously your source of information. All that being what it is.

How are there taught to tackle in practice? There is a very strong feeling on this Board that the coaches (mainly one) do not believe in live tackling drills, and as a result, our players are using poor tackling technique resulting in lots of missed tackles and bad angles.
To me tackling in football is as basic as free throw shooting or hitting a baseball in that if you aren’t practicing the most basic aspect of a sport it is hard to be successful regardless of other factors. But I could be wrong about everything I have asked and written.

I have a question? Weren't they tacking last year? Serious question because if they were tackling before & Coaches haven't changed them..🤷🏾‍♀️

I don't ask him much about football. I try to be a sounding board and not a fan so if he doesn't offer info, I don't ask.

Honestly UM tackling stats have been bad for a few years. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problem as we are all outsiders, but on this Board most people point to the fact that UM does not tackle to the ground in practice. This is probably to avoid injuries in practice. But in turn it reduces live action.
Right now Miami leads the country in missed tackles. Not a good stat to lead in.

We all wish your son the best and hope to see his playing time rise every week. Good luck.

Dude, relax. You dont gotta be regurgitating the same stats to Elijah's mom thats been discussed over and over.

There was so much credit given with the 91 percent returning experience but no one was concerned of the losses these returners had performed so badly in. A record number of yards rushing allowed to NC, a loss in the bowl game. If Manny thought that those same players would suddenly turn it around he was wrong. Hopefully we see young talent on the field, I'd rather see aggressive mistakes than all the missed tackles and dropped passes plus talented youth improves by playing. Time will tell and Diaz needs to realize his job is on the line.

I would love for Diaz to do this:

Visit JJ like Rhule did and ASAP!

I get it and thank you!
