2027 Elijah Haven 5* QB from Baton Rouge, LA (Dunham School)

Our passing game is limited with Beck has been all season because our coaches don’t trust him to open it up. I’d take 3 years of underwood from Michigan over Beck for a season in a heartbeat.
Are u gonna take a season of 3 or 4 losses and be cool?

Lol terrible and lazy we have a top 5 paid quarterback in college football you think he’s worth it ? College football rosters builds are becoming more like the nfl everyday. You pay the big money now for haven and believe in your development so you don’t have to overpay for a beck.
This is MORONIC - name all the 5* home grown QBs on the top 10 teams

If we had underwood starting we would be undefeated. Running game would be unstoppable with the threat of his legs. He’s been just as good as Beck passing with far worst weapons.
LOL - Underwood would have lost us two games already. The two teams he played with a pulse (Oklahoma and USC) they scored 13 points in each game.

And they lost those games because of underwood or their subpar offensive line and Mac level receivers? Imagine how many picks Beck would through vs Oklahoma he’d get benched

If you immediately pull up a box score as evidence it tells me you didn’t watch
I've watched several Michigan games and he's a middle of the road QB right now. Inaccurate, semi-sidearm delivery on a lot of throws, and slow at reading defenses.

I'm still waiting for you to point out all the non-transfer QBs starting for the Top 10 teams.

If you are counting Julian sayin as a real transfer qb I’m done with this conversation

and pretty much, yeah.

from the article:

“They’re all still in the hunt … Obviously, I want my son to win and go to a winning program and to have a culture of winning, but it’s the SEC, so these schools are all good and you know any given Saturday, depending on how to which way the ball bounces, it could be your day or not, so even in the losses I’m intrigued to see how coaches handle the the players and how they respond and bounce back,” Haven detailed. “There’s going to be highs and lows when Elijah gets there … hopefully, way more highs. For me, LSU and Georgia are perennial programs with expectations of winning and it’s more about coaches and how they respond through adversity.”
I can’t wait for the spell of the SEC to breakdown

Another way to validate your point; there are four true freshmen starting quarterbacks:
  • Bryce Underwood (Michigan)
  • Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele (California)
  • Malik Washington (Maryland)
  • Bear Bachmeier (BYU)

Underwood, as of now, is without a doubt the worst of the bunch. And he was the one who was most highly touted.

The 5 star HS QBs are too expensive when considering risk vs reward and potential transfer out. @DMoney has done this drill before and provided all the data.

This is isn’t 100% iron clad, but the data was pretty overwhelming. Texas paid Arch a ton of money to sit for 2 years and now they’re paying him to play like s.hi.t. Someone on here suggested paying an Arch type AND a high dollar transfer portal QB. Money does have limits.

Agreed. Money is better spent on proven commodities who have next level experience in the portal, rather than taking fliers on HS quarterbacks, which is a total crapshoot
