Which I can appreciate going on social media and talking with your buddies and being a little goofy. Nothing wrong with that. I also realize it’s every fanbase but man there’s a level of deep down stuff that’s actually “off” with their fans. It’s hard to explain until you see it in person.

I’m from PA originally, basically on the Ohio border, and people always ask how I ended up a Miami fan. When Miami is on top no one is more hated than we are and I’m being reminded again why I loved watching them play as a kid.

To me, it’s the arrogance more than anything. Like, nobody else in CFB matters except for them. They’ve had a really good run for a long time now, hats off to them, but I’ve been around sports long enough(especially college football) to realize it all ebbs and flows. You can’t find a single program that hasn’t gone through an extended period of suckage. We know this all too well as Canes fans. It wasn’t until I drove through the state of Ohio and Columbus many years ago that I realized why they’re so miserable. What an awful place to live…no offense to anyone here who lives there.

A favorite coping mechanism I’ve seen them use is well Toney lined up offside on third down. His foot was over the computer generated black line. That’s more valid than the ref down the line.

It was a thing of beauty. I've watched that drive at least 5 times in the following days after the win. So satisfying. Them boys didn't want none of our OL that late in the game.

Maurice Clarett on his show alluded to how classless it was for the program to come across like that. He was very direct in saying if you lose, lose like a man and don’t make excuses. He said he went around and congratulated all the UM alumni after the game.
 
Ohio state fans are insufferable. It’s been a week and still saying they were the better team all over X and YouTube.

Jaded girlfriend syndrome with the classic “he has a small d!ck.” Still hit tho 🤷‍♂️

No, but I did find a bag of misplaced cocaine.
Kidding.
This was mid-late 1990s and the University had a large media center where they monitored TV programs and news worldwide, which was kind of neat at the time before the internet took off.
