Arroyo stood out more than Mallory on the same field today.

Wiggins didn’t look any better against an inferior opponent.

Franklin looked cleaner. Hit the whole hard. I’ll take 4 yards a carry against a good team any day. Something Harris can’t do.

OL I can’t tell. QB can’t tell. Does King throw 5 tds?
Receivers can’t tell except for Wiggins.
 
His tendency would be to default to seniority (what he knows). He sees that as the safest route to keeping his job. Too much uncertainty for him to take a chance on others. This is why instead of bringing in a new DC, Manny bet on himself. Terrible move but that's who he is and I wouldn't expect to see these young guys getting much time Thursday.

See Dee Wiggins, there is absolutely zero reason why Restrepo, Smiff and da crew don’t start. Same for defense. Seriously, can they do any worse than what we have seen? The upper classmen can’t catch a cold consistently but the underclassmen make SportsCenter Top 10 catches. And they continue to put out the more senior players. This is a prime example of a corch. You wanna win, you play your best players. No matter if it is a one star three legged transgender midget or a five star stud. Play the best or else grfoh.
It’s like a broken record sometimes with y’all.

This was good for older guys to start hearing footsteps behind them. If they rise to the challenge, great. If not, Manny better have the cajones to put the more talented freshmen in. Teach a lesson that no one has a secured spot. And play your best 22 every game.

Yes it can be discussed. Yes it was a lower tier 1AA team. But if you watched the play you can see the difference. The guys we haven’t seen this year saw football and went to football. Why is that the case? Is it because they’re hungry and tired of getting little to no burn? Is it because they are better football players, regardless of stars, and understand that taking away time and space is imperative? I dont have an answer. What I do believe though is seeing the 26’s of the world out there would have yielded the same results whether it be Alabama or the team we played today.


Bottom line is I’ll take mistakes from year 1 guy over the same mistakes from year 4 and 5 guy. What’s happened to this point doesn’t and hasn’t worked. Give me Cave and Troutman any and every day over 44 and anyone of the like. And then make there asses earn every snap the rest of the year and next year as well. And if you think TVD and Garcia aren’t more equipped to run this offense you’re out of your mind as well.

When Manny talked a week ago about accountability, lack of production and playing young players, he knew full well who was next on our schedule.

I fully expect him to go back to his regulars on Thursday and play it safe. He knows he can't experiment with his job on the line.
 
We are losing to UVA and GT not a doubt in my mind… they will punch us in the nose and we will fold like a lawn chair.
