Either we stopped them for a loss or they gained 15 yds

Is it too late for you to put in your resume at Miami? We need geniuses like you to help our coaches.

There are at least a hundred P5 quality DCs that post here. No doubt about it. We could have a championship staff if we just used this site exclusively as our coaching talent pool.

Son.

nice let's deflect the fact your average nobody on a message board knows what's coming before the ball is snapped

great job!

You’re right. Average nobodies.

Also, Toledo’s offense totally sucks balls because they should have put up a hundred on a defense that average nobodies can diagnose.

Manny Diaz is the perfect D Coordinator for the Canes.

As we continue to recruit well, the talent that UM will line up on the defensive side of the ball will mitigate the downside of the risk-reward ratio of Manny approach.
If we hit on those recruits but we’ve missed some key ones recently

watch out now, you can't criticize this coaching staff or it's players or the richt slurpers will come out in droves and deflect deflect deflect

i'll forgive you for this one, but you're on notice understood?

We held a team that had been averaging nearly 600 yards of offense for over a year, including their 500+ on us last season, to just over 300. Time to fire everyone.

There was literally less than a 15 minute period where Toledo wasn’t getting absolutely dominated while our best defender was sidelined with an injury. Fire everyone.

Miami will finish top 15 in total defense - if only because of the schedule. Who of our upcoming games has a better offense than Toledo?

FIU - No
UNC - No
FSU - No
UVA- No
GT - No
BC - No
Duke - No
VT - No
Pitt - No

Half of these teams are downright anemic on offense, and the other half are run-first, which is not our weakness.

1. Agree that on 3rd and long we always blitz heavy and the offense knows it. I know this will burn is in a big game with better QBs, etc. I hate it but what can we do?
2. I do not agree its " too early" to simply state what the defensive stats are. Of course its early but its early for everyone. Does that make the rankings any less real, or true?
3. With JJ out and Carter out, we should have adjusted to that reality and not leave Knowles and others on islands and play more coverage, IMO.

Yes that is our D . Waaaay better then any D ran at Miami since Schiano's D but I would like a little less feast or famine . Alot of that does come from the inexperience though . last year was better then year 1 and this year will be better then last year IMO. But overall I zero complaints about our D as we have one of the best up and coming coaching staffs in college on that side.

Is this the most delusional, least informed post ever uttered on this site?

Were you in a coma from 2001-2005?

Lovett had better defenses than *iaz, and everyone hated him too.

Again. Batting average after 2 ABs.

And why am I not shocked that the guy who doesnt know the difference between “then” and “than” thinks Diaz defense is better than the 2001-2005 defenses.

Diaz slurpers are dug in bc they fell in love with his last name and the fact rhat he said “violent”; the chain sealed the love affair even further. Its really pathetic and weird to love coaches bc of their personality.
