Effect of Gurvan out first half vs Clemson

Can somebody with a good football iq or understanding of our defensive substitutions and x and os tell me how big of a deal this will be against Clemson? I know we have 2 other starting caliber safeties but all have been playing a ton so far

Just don't be running any man coverage from the safety position and we're fine.

If he is the only thing between a Clemson ball carrier and the endzone and they are somewhat in the open field, tell D'Eriq to put on his helmet. Gurvan is good in the open field and not a stiff, Amari on the other hand ...

They think all 3 of those guys are interchangeable so I don't expect us to really change what we do though just because 26 won't be out there. We better be getting Balom/Harrell/whoever the 4th guy is ready though in case 5 or 21 goes down/need a breather, even if it is just for a play.

The coaches say we have three and have been playing all of them. Carter has gotten a ton of PT. He might not be what we want and leaves alot to be desired in open field tackling but they will rock with him
