Edwards

I hope that with more touches Gus can run like he is suppose to run. He almost runs like Dillard did, a big back running like a small back. But Edwards is way more talented than Dillard. The problems Gus needs to fix this offseason is learning to finish runs. Besides the long touchdowns, which are fine, he has got to learn how to get that good body lean and fall forward even if for not so much yardage.

He has looked the best I've seen him since he arrived. But that was the worst VT team I've ever seen.

For a bit of perspective, Gus is our 4th best RB. He'd be VT's best RB. UM's talent is do much better than VT it's insane.

The guy is a good running back, he will get better as he has over the past year, why so much negativity about him. He is a CANE and his production has been fine for the RB's as a group including Duke and Joseph.

He always plays when the D is stacking the line so if he gets through the first layer it's bye bye, all his tds noones near him

He ran with a purpose. That's what he hasn't done up until that point. He was pushing the pile on ever run. I'm used to seeing this offense hit a pile and it not move at all. But he would hit it and gain an extra 2-3 yards and gain the occasional 5-7 yards on those runs. It looks like coach Ice has taught the back to fall forward rather keep getting stood up. Even Duke looks vastly improved this season.

Think Gus is learning from watching Yearby and Duke. He's been very shifty and making great reads in between the tackles.
