Ed Reed's in the HOF

Wayne is 10th in yds with Dre right behind him in 11th - 150 yds less. If Wayne gets in, Dre should have a good shot.

Gore is 4th as of now in yds and should be a lock. Edge is 13th and all but Gore and Peterson ahead of him are in.

Edge has already had 5 years of HOF eligibility and hasn't made it. That's not a good sign when it comes to who gets in. Does he deserve to be in? Sure. And if you guys remember pre-ACL tear Edgerrin James, he was one of the best RBs you ever saw. He still put up some **** good numbers post-ACL tear, but he wasn't quite the same back.
Exactly
That’s why I have my list in that order
I DO think Edge gets in next year
He was L Bell before L Bell for all you pups...truly a three down back .....it’s a shame he left Indy the year before they won SB

Jan 2002.....17yrs Later....Canton Welcomes Ed...

As per 790 the ticket:

Ed Reed is the first safety in over 25 years to go in on the first ballot.

The discussion of whether to vote him in lasted only 2 minutes - other players where discussed for HOURS.

Respect.

Happy for you Ed Reed!

I believe they said it was the shortest discussion ever in the modern era on a candidate, not just the shortest this year.

Maryland should be in the college hall of fame no doubt.... Pro.... I'm not so sure...... He was a force on those cowboy teams but he wasn't the man. He was solid his whole career. If he gets in that's cool, but if he doesn't I can understand that too
Maryland was not a NFL HOFer. Loved him at Miami and he had a solid career, but not HOF.

We were bless to see Ed Reed and Ray Lewis play on the same defense in Baltimore. Two of the greatest to lace em up.
The amazing thing is that ed reed is one of the greatest leaders and motivators in the history of football, and wihout question, ray lewis was the dominant leader and motivator on those teams.

Today is Ed’s day, but people still haven’t fully wrapped their minds around how special ray lewis was. Dude wasn’t just a great player. He was a force of nature.

Big Russ is not an NFL HOF guy. Great player, better guy but not HOF material. Got the last scholly at UM when a recruit before him couldn’t make grades. He had no other big time offers. Then Jimmy made him the #1 pick in the NFL draft when Rocket Ismael opted to go to the CFL. Jimmy took Big Russ against some of the Cowboys brass better wishes. Great career

Imagine if ST retired the same year snd they both could've been first ballot

My favorite of all time and I love how it took them no longer than two and a half minutes to say he was in.
