Ed Reed's in the HOF

We were bless to see Ed Reed and Ray Lewis play on the same defense in Baltimore. Two of the greatest to lace em up.

Its interesting you say that, because the HOF’s own web site shows no return specialists as a category. They list players by position. Punters/kickers are there.
He'll be the first then. Hester was dynamic and impacted the game in a way that had never been done before. He also had an iconic moment returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown in a Super Bowl.

Arguably the best Cane ever. I don't know if you all feel like me, but when a Cane gets in the HOF,I feel as if we all do.

Cane family man. GOAT!
Not sure about Ed Reed being the greatest Cane ever, but definitely up there in the list. A true and inspirational Cane leader! A proud moment for the Cane family!

I think Wilfork has a chance and maybe Gore in a low numbers year for the HOF. But that is it for the Canes for a while.

Clinton, Dre, Frank and Vince should get in with Vince IMO being 1st ballot worthy but a nt will never grt that

Most exciting safety in the league for a long time, and he was at the top of the game for so long.

I remember watching Ravens Steelers games in the late 2000s, and the best playmakers were Reed and Polamalu.

Also, let's not forget his return game. Great football player, not just safety

Lefs not leave blocked kicks

Ed should have been in the class alone. None of the others are worthy to share the stage. And for any who doubt how great it is to be. Miami Hurricane, note that people can, will and do argue that not only was Ed not the goat of Miami but ST and Bennie Blades are in the discussion for greatest Hurricane safety. Ed’s my choice at safety but The Stork is still GOAT. Ed was a hunter in the secondary, laying.traps and bating the field. Another Cane brother get the yellow jacket. Everyone smile, it is a good day.

So out of curiosity I looked up all time leaders in non-offensive TDs. It is a cool list. Devin Hester 1, Deion 2, Woodson 3, Barber 4, Ed Reed t5. Amazing that Hester sits there as a returner and the others were DBs. Mitchell was t5 as a returner also.

This chart is incorrect. Missing Ray Lewis.

Canes have 8 now...Same as Bama...and we will have at least 3 more soon.
