Ed Reed's in the HOF

Yup I really think wilfofk should get in. He’s was unique and all football fans loved him. All those commercials and him in the overalls lol great nfl personality and player.

I love Ed Reed and he’s probably the all-in goat Cane at least since the Mad Stork roamed the field. (People forget what he was at UM and in the League. There’s a frickin award named after him.)

That said, Sean Taylor was the most dominany safety I have ever seen play cfb, and the most athletically dominant player I have ever seen on the defensive side of the football field.

/ray lewis is the best defensive player, ever.

Go Canes!

I don't think Andre Johnson is borderline, I think he's nearly a lock. Edge and Reggie are borderline, I agree.

I think Devin definitely makes it in, too. He was the best ever at special teams, it's not really debatable.

Andre Johnson is borderline. I've been studying this for a while. He's great for receiving yards but relatively low on receiving TD's, and no ring. Wide Receiver is one of the most competitive positions to get in. He's definitely not a lock.

Reggie Wayne is WAY more of a lock than Andre. Same receiving yards, more TD's and has a ring.

Hester gets in. He was the most dangerous man in football for like five years.

Its interesting you say that, because the HOF’s own web site shows no return specialists as a category. They list players by position. Punters/kickers are there.
There’s always a first for anything and if enough high profile guys clamour for Hester he should get in imo. Being unique should also be a requirement for HOF IMO and Hester was definitely that 👍

I didn't realize Wayne had the same yards and more TDs, but I guess my concern is that he was overshadowed by Marvin Harrison. If he's close to a lock, great. What are your thoughts on Wilfork? To me, he's a 5x Pro Bowler, 2x Super Bowl champion, and widely regarded as the best NT in the game for some time against the run. He won't have the sacks of some other DTs, but the guy was a clog who made it very difficult for other teams to run.

As a Cowboy fan I was so ****ed off at jerruh in that draft! Cowboys had 6th pick I believe and could have traded down to teens and picked up another pick or two and take. ED REED
What did that dumbass do.....

He used the 6th pick to pick a safety (which was dumb to begin w) and he got suckered taking R Williams from OU !!!!!!

It was stupid and obviously contributed to the mediocrity of the Cowboys!!!

Take some **** Canes Jerruh
M Irvin paid off....comeon!

Johnson is not a certainty, but you’re reading it wrong, imo. He’s 3x first team all pro, 2x second team all pro, 2x led league in receiving yards, and 7x pro bowl. He was genuinely top 2 wr for a few years. If he had one more all pro or pro bowl, I’d say he was a lock. Or if he played for a better team.

Wayne was 1x first team all pro, 2x second team. 6 pro bowls, 1x receiving yards leader. The SB is nice but not enough. He is a credible candidate because of longevity and climbing the all time records lists.
