Sometimes I wonder if I’m watching the same games as y’all. Either I’m not or a lot of y’all are mentally challenged.

Neither the offense or defense(especially today) is HORRENDOUS. Defense was put behind the 8 ball **** near all day and gave up 1 TD, offense hasn’t been very good the past 2 games but Clemson is elite and Pitt has a good defense. Other teams recruit scholarships athletes as well..

Agreed. The sad thing is it seems like 75% of this place. We won by double f'n digits. Last 5 years we lose this game. Today is another step forward in being consistent. We can't be great without being consistent.

They're to busy poRsting in the game thread to watch the actual game. Bunch of hoes around here.
 
We have got to stop acting like its the 1980, 1990s, or **** even early 2000s on this board! There is NO SUCH thing as a dominant defense any more. Go watch all of the great teams play now. They all give up yards. They all give up points. With the rules in place and spread offenses dominating, defensive football has changed. Our defense, while annoying as **** to watch for 4 quarters, does well in the areas that matter. We limit explosive plays (not as strong this season as years past), we tighten up in the red zone, and we get disruptive plays (TFLs, sacks). We have got to improve on 3rd downs. That to me is the major weakness of this defense. I thought the LB play was SO much better today with Cave and Brooks playing the majority of the snaps.
 
My issue was more play calling on D. You had a rookie/backup QB and it felt like we were giving him all day. Any time we blitzed and brought heat, he almost immediately threw it away. They had a couple of tough drops that helped us too. Just not sure what the coaches were thinking when they see us gash us through the middle of the field on long developing pass plays.

Granted Pitt’s D is one of the best in the country, but King is just too small. I think he is good. He is too small to look over the line and it hurts his deep passes. Our team will be good, but not great.

Tough part is once he gets out there he stops moving so it’s hard to sub him!
If I gotta watch him literally not move for three seconds after the ball is snapped all year, I’m gonna throw my phone out the window! Brutal. He’s so unbelievably bad. We only gave up yards when he and Jennings were on the field.

Bad DT recruiting?? What? We have evaluated well at DT lately.. we have not at LB though, although injuries derailed most of the now upperclassman LBs. DT’s have been good.

DTs could be better but they have player ok and I'm not complaining I want dominant dts though that's why. I'm spoiled
 
Hey, negativity is getting pretty old.
Our young men accomplished something positive today. We finally beat a tough PITT team and psychologically we have won a week later when we LOST last week Proud of our team. Very proud. Finally things are looking up
 
My only problem is these dipshiits call zone at the exact wrong time. Every freaking time we called zone someone was wide open like Mia Khalifa's cooch.
