Man there is no former hurricane that is more passionate about UM football than Ed Reed. This interview was fantastic, reed sounded very energized and he will be involved ALOT.

favorite quotes in the interview so far

“I’m not coaching for money, I didn’t come back to Miami for money. It’s about having that standard that we had. I didnt See that standard.”

Another great quote
“If you ain’t coachable and they don’t want to be part of the university of Miami team. Team first, they need not be here. They can go ahead and get in the transfer portal, if that’s what you want to do and transfer to another school. I promise You we are going to coach those other kids up and they going to play their hearts out.

“If you ain’t going to play together, if you not going to demonstrate togetherness on and off the field we don’t need you as hurricane because that’s what we are about.”

“There’s 2 people in life, ones who like the perks and ones who like to work. You ain’t coming to Miami for the perks, you coming to Miami to work”

“I don’t see that standard” -Ed Reed

I really don’t know how this ER hire is going to turn out, but it doesn’t seem to me like he’s going to be a wallflower. He’s going to give his hard nosed opinions. The activist BOT members are going to know exactly what’s wrong

He’s gonna be Mannys “button man”. Holding players accountable. That’s priceless.

I hope he morphs into a suppository for this program. Then, while in position as a suppository, morphs into a fork stuck sideways up the program’s beta cuck bums, until they’re weeded out. But that’s me dreaming, of course.

I dont know how anybody would ever think reed or any other True Cane would take a position here to be a figure head, that aint happening, had zo taking a position here, changes were coming, reed is here now, changes are going to come. What reed being here does, is helps to re-establish the culture that was lost when kehoe, soldinger, hargreaves and the likes got fired. So you adding reed to. Having coach rumph here, with coach cooney and now telly lockete on deck, the culture definitely has a chance to be restablished, our db's under coach rumph have always played confident since he's been here. They'll be even more confident come next year with coach rumph at the helm, cause they'll be older and coached harder to improve from the year before, watch out for ivey and Blades, we got guys who looking to start dominating again, get well soon bolden.
