How in the name of all that is holy...

Either Ed Oliver is the best player in college football or we made a huge mistake not seeing this guy (D’Onofrio) through.

Thought bubble of everyone reading this about the OP:

I think OP misphrased the question,...it should've read, "how much greater would Oliver had been with a real coach through his college career?" !

I know you're too busy fcking yourself in your own face to notice, but I'm going to thumb this down anyway.

Lmao I love the enthusiasm, but I truly believe Oliver is the best football player in the NCAA, so the other argument must be wrong(NoD). I liked the guy as a person, but he sucked booty at coaching. I'm glad we have MD.

Oliver is a rare DT that dominated from day one as a true freshman. Guarantee had he been eligible he would have jumped to the NFL and as far away from No-D as possible. Top 5 pick next April, as close to a lock as you can get.

Good on Oliver for staying home. Had he gone to Bama, Clemson, etc I do wonder what kind of numbers he would've put up. Serious talent, no doubt about it.

He sucks as both a person and a coach.

Oliver regressed under No'D!!

He went from 22.5 TFL as a True Freshman, to 16.5 TFL as a sophomore.
