Probably a combo. Their fans aren't dumb, they know he got lucky last year and that they are on the way to 4 more years of mediocrity before finally getting rid of him. Now they have this scandal as an excuse to show him the door one year after the championship, something you can't really do otherwise.

Gotta be the Title IX stuff. He bought, I mean, brought a championship to LSU last year so that overcomes just about any on-field performance issues for a few years. Smells like lack of institutional control.

there is a poster on their board who seems pretty well-respected. Calls himself "tigerlawyer" he said Wednesday night there are a few rough weeks ahead and there could be some casualties... He implied Orgeron could be involved - it's over and above the number of players theya re expecting to leave now...

Seemed like more sh*t going to hit the fan

I need to see it to believe. The man won a national championship last year, that makes him also untouchable for at least 3 years.
 
If he is done I wonder who they would target. Thats a big job, in a tough division with fertile recruiting grounds and big budget at your disposal.

Could we see Hugh Freeze make a SEC comeback?

That implies there are things we don't already know.

I really wish it was UF instead of LSU.

You cannot hide the sexual assault allegations and expect to survive. OBJ handing out cash after the championship game sure does not help either.

Ed O has been in trouble for years.

Last season was an aberration, not the norm.
