Ebuka Izundu commits!

He visited a week or two ago. Jekiri being from Nigeria as well hopefully helped close him.

would be great addition to add someone with his length! We need someone to replace Jekiri and he could come in redshirt or play sparingly for a year while learning behind Jekiri, Murphy, Sherman, and Ivan

"If we're ranking players at the Atlanta Jam, I'm fairly certain the majority would choose Izundu as the overall MVP. Credit former Charlotte head coach Alan Major and his staff for even getting a commitment in the first place, but now that Izundu has reopened his recruitment, you can see why high-majors like Tennessee are hot on the trail. The 6'9" lefty has a smooth feel to his game. He's skilled and athletic, two attributes you don't see combined often enough in today's grassroots scene. He has the ability to stretch to 15-feet and score off the dribble. Whomever gets his signature late is getting a good one."

Hopefully he shoots well from 15 to 18 feet. The highlight tape didn't have any midrange jump shots

We don't need him to be a stretch 4. Sherman and ICU fill that role pretty well already. We need this dude to be a rebounder and get his offense by being a garbage man on the inside, and by running in transition...basically, Kamari Murphy Jr.

As long as he can be an athletic presence on both ends in the paint, we'll be in great shape. I love this pickup. I see him as more of a Julian Gamble type than a Kenny Kadji type. Aggressive/athletic.
