East Tennessee State OL Transfer Johnathan Cline transferring to Miami

I don’t agree. It has been proven this staff will only play 6 offensive linemen max outside of special packages and garbage duty and only two underclassmen max will play on the offensive line in my opinion. According to D Money and Pete, the staff see Meriweather how they saw Bell coming in from JUCO, they believe they can turn him into a draftable player.

Here is how I see the offensive starting lineup
QB Darian Mensah, RJR, 6-3 205
HB Mark Fletcher, SR, 6-2 225
WR Cam Vaughn, RJR, 6-2 195
WR Cooper Barkate, 6yr SR, 6-1 195
Slot Malachi Toney, SO, 5-11 190
TE Luka Gilbert, SO, 6-7 255
LT Matthew McCoy, RSR, 6-7 325
LG Jamal Meriweather, RJR, 6-7 305
C Ryan Rodriguez, 6yr SR, 6-2 300
RG Samson Okunlola, RJR, 6-6 330
RT Jackson Cantwell, FR, 6-8 325

If this lineup holds true, that will only be 3 underclassmen starting and one of them being Mali.
Sorry I meant specifically on the OL, particuarly the backups.

So I did a little digging and according to PFF, against any P5 opponent he played he had a 70-80 grade with the highest I was able to find being an 83 vs. UF. That’s fantastic grading. We might have something here.

I don’t have a PFF subscription so I can’t see all of his grades. Just putting it out there.

Fun fact: We opened the 1998 season vs. ETSU. Nate Webster had one of the nastiest hits on a QB I've seen.
My first ever game at the OB

Came down from Johnson City with my grandfather (Miami alum that lead to my family being Cane fans), my dad, and my uncle... his son (my cousin) played for ETSU at the time and his roommates were Jamey Chadwell (Liberty HC who was a QB at ETSU), Marcus Satterfield (OC at Nebraska), and Derek Fudge (ETSU LB that went on to play for the Saints). Derek is the go-to trainer in this area for athletes. Works with most of the premier HS athletes in the area and many of the ETSU athletes (including Cline) when they're off the football calendar schedule.

Curious why you have samson on the right when played exclusively on the left side this year.

@Trinton Breeze

When you post articles like this, always let your audience know what position he played. You said he was All SoCon 2nd team but you left out where. Those things matter. I'm not trying to pick on you young man. I'm just giving you some constructive criticism. Go Canes!
