I thought about it. Its 1 game and we are upset about the loss. I firmly believe we need to move to Perry, Weldon and even Williams if necessary. We are not beating Clemson or any team of similar caliber this season. In saying that, it was still one game, i find it hard to believe what we saw sunday is the best we can do. I expect us to beat the next 4 opponents then we face FSU. If that game resembles in anyway what we saw Sunday, Richt is on the hot seat next season. They wont can him but the pressure will officially be on.

Like the title say, earn your paycheck. Everyone was blowing you preseason, obviously this team is not going anywhere with Rosier. The penalties need to be gone, the stupid blown assignments need to be gone and in a hurry. And if you are convinced Rosier is the best we have, he better play much better than we have seen the last 4 games. Its not only on Rosier, its on Brown and Richt who have failed to develop an adequate run game since they have been here, change up the blocking scheme if necessary. Earn your check.

Forget that. Rosier is a lost cause. He’s not going to get better. It’s time to develop the youngsters.

He thinks following the Bobby Bowden blueprint of nepotism, not knowing your players names, and being custodian of a great brand, whilst espousing Christian values pays homage to his mentor and will lead to success here.

Bobby was more forgiving with his discipline, and had an overwhelming talent advantage over teams not named Hurricanes. Humanitarian Richt and staff give us the equivalent of the final BB years.

Fans want a super hungry HC that can win with style.

Richt approval ratings have plummeted, we need a change.

Interesring analysis, you may be on to something.

This crossed my mind today. Can it be the blocking scheme that is causing the OL problems?

I don’t know enough about the subject to formulate an opinion. But it seems like we whiff a lot. Maybe it’s bad communication. Maybe it too complex, or simply a bad scheme.

We all see lesser teams/coaches doing more, week in an week out. How can our OL be so bad so many years in a row?

I think earning his check means making some tough decisions, starting with the offense. They sputter for extended periods of time and can be totally ineffective during long droughts. The QB room may need addressing also, the on field product has been terrible and they are yet to produce a product of their own in spite of getting ALL of their top targets at QB, and Rosier is the same player he was prior to the staff arrival (see the Duke Halloween game three years ago).

Thought he blew it when he invited Helferich to consult but didn't offer him a job. The offense he ran at Oregon is designed for the style athletes we have on offense, but the old man seems Keen to run it up the middle ad nauseum and if that doesn't work there is always the 4 verticals he can use to set up the hb draw on third and long.

Poor coaching.

This is what happens with every coach that has been here since Butch. We give to much praise way to early (and of course this school overreacts to one 9 or 10 win season and extends the coaches) then said coach goes 7-6 people gain prospective and realize he wasn't as good as they thought and the 9-10 win season were filled with lucky breaks.

Dude out here were crowning Manny as the successor. I couldn't laugh hard enough.

This program just sucks. Finally, I have to realize I will never see a good Miami team. Whole time this program was good, I was traveling all over the world. Never went to a game other than that Sugar Bowl abortion against UT. The teams I ‘ve seen since I returned to Florida look like the same sad chit I saw in the ‘60s and ‘70s when I was at UM as a student.

Bobby Bowden had an Offensive Coordinator - IN THE BOX.

Until the dumbass hired his son Jeff to be DC - then even Bobby lost his job.

The sad thing is the stupid school resisted giving JJ and Butch extensions while throwing them at just about everyone else.
