Early Vegas over/under 2023 season totals are out

7.5? Under:

Miami (OH) - win
A&M - lose
Bethune - win
Temple - win (is this part of the Manny settlement?)
Tech - win
UNC - lose
Clemson - lose
UVA - win (not surprised, either way, based on last year)
NC State - lose
FSU - lose (not surprised, either way, based on history)
Louisville - lose (check out Brohm and "big games" and I think this is one for him in his first year)
BC - win

Until I see otherwise I can't take Miami in any "pick 'em" kind of game. So, while I don't like it, my money, now, is on A&M (though they are just as reliable), UNC (they own us under Mac), and NC State (they play harder than we do). I can't, most optimistically, see more than 7 wins here.

I’m not here to argue potential wins/losses but I will argue your use of the word “optimistically”
