Dude I watched the game. I know exactly what happened lmao. You are beyond delusional so I will just wait until Sat night to respond to you. It is going to be hilarious watching you make up excuses Sat night. How does it feel watching a team that you know will never be able to compete with the big boys and will never be able to make a NY6 bowl?

Well WMU did it 2 seasons ago and we have the 3rd highest G5 winning percentage since 2010 so I'll keep dreaming. I'm fine where I stand. Toledo is my team. Not OSU, Michigan, ND. G5er for life. We live for upsets and scaring the "big boys." No excuses needed. If we lose we do. No one thought we would win right? A good place to be.
 
I literally have no idea what to expect with this team , when your passing game is this bad / inconsistent you just never know.

Just look at Pitt/Unc , that can happen any week.

Ran you into the ground late? Walton had almost 100 yards by the end of the first quarter!

LB was not your “weak spot”. Playing defense is your weak spot. The week before you had given up about 600 yards to Tulsa or some ****.

It was 38-30 late cause our QB threw a pick late deep on our own side of the field. We then proceeded to waltz down the field on that thing you call defense and put the game away.

Never said a G5 team can't make it. I said Toledo couldn't . Problem is you don't scare any of the big boys. The big boys add you to their schedule to pad their record. You should be thanking Miami for scheduling you because without teams like us you couldn't even afford to have a team. Ya it a great place to be. Always getting stomped out by the teams that actually have a pulse. I would love to be in your shoes. You really are making a strong case for the saying "Toledo students are the ones to dumb to get into OSU".

Toledo couldn't but WMU could? Ha what? It depends on the coach and culture at hand. If they could, anyone can? NIU did it in 2012 with an average attendance of like 14k and lost to 4-8 Iowa.

Lol low G5s like Indiana don't schedule us because we will win!! The only P5 teams we will get from here on are the biggest and baddest that can still beat us and accept our rate of a win at "not terrible" because we usually win 9.

Only scheduled P5 are Ohio State, Michigan State and ND Thru 2022.

And can't afford to have a team? Lol our facilities are nice enough for at least half of FBS football. And with an awesome basketball stadium enough to be a a top 25 attended wbb arena for like 10 years in a row, nothing near bottom tier midmajor or MAC basketball team is Toledo talk. You know nothing about us.

We aren't talking about basketball. You can claim to be able to beat weak P5 teams, but that is bull****. You guys are ****y because you lucked into a great QB last year. You will be back to being trash again this year. OSU, MSU, ND, and Miami will all throttle you guys. I have no interest in making fun of a G5 team so I will just let the team do the talking. I personally don't even liek scheduling these types of games because I feel bad for the G5 teams that end up getting embarrassed on national TV and usually end up with multiple injuries for going up against teams that actually field a real football team. If you want to continue this discussion we will talk again Sat.

Except 1-0 against Penn State and Michigan...

We are 10 point dogs at home and 6-2 at the Glass Bowl in the past 15 years against the P5. That's just another reason to believe we CAN win if things fall our way. Why the F would a fan give up before the game is played if we have overcame way steeper odds before? The fact is that your QB and O line are not top 25 worthy right now so we have a punchers chance.

BTW who is ****y? 2 Toledo fans have been on your board. If that's a ****y sentiment of our fan base then y'all must not be able to take **** come ACC play.

LOL I'm not a homer and I think this will be a closer game than what people seem to think in this thread but oddsshark is one of the worst gambling advice websites on the planet lol. If the spread is -10 Miami and their programmed computers are spitting out that Toledo should win by 8, their computers are complete ****. I could post example over example of how retarded the people at oddsshark are but I don't want to waste anyone's time including my own.

You want to say not all G5 teams are created equally but neither are P5. No one is impressed by wins against ISU, Purdue and Syracuse. And the Michigan team you beat won 3 games all year so that’s not saying much either. There are a couple good wins in there against non-powerhouse P5 teams. Lower P5 teams don’t want to play you because they don’t want to pay you or trade a home and home, aside from the fact that they might get beat. It’s great that you can play a P5 team tough and win every now and then put up great numbers when playing against MAC. But in the ACC, which is not good this year, you’d be at the bottom having to play P5 competition every week. The fact you had to take a bye week in week 2 after playing VMI says enough.

I remember your profile picture like it was yesterday. That Penn State team was horrendous. It was the first year they replaced Sandusky.

I agree that beating ISU and Purdue ain't **** but when people group us with the G5 I can pound my chest when we beat a P5 because in people's head that matters. I know we would finish middle of the pack in the ACC. Massey composite has us between 25 and 60 from year to year which is 2017 Duke, GT, level. Offensively we are better than half of your league and defensively near or at the bottom.

BTW the Michigan team we beat was on Toledo's worst statistical season EVER. We went 4-8. So that time a bad P5 lost to a bad G5. Its still a brand name and only 45 minutes away from us in fertile recruiting ground.

Penn State was coming off a good year and got spooked early. Lost to USC in week 1 then us. We were 24 point dogs and won 24-6. Penn State finished 5-7 with one win over a ranked Drew Breese led Purdue.

I have no problem with an ACC team talking ****. They have the right too because they actually have a chance of winning. Our OL and QB are not top 25, but they are still higher then your QB and OL and the rest of our positions are significantly better then yours. See you Sat.
 
My man is in here bragging about a win over a 5 win football team in September of 2000!
