Bruh, I’m going to have nightmares about this game Friday night. I said this in the gameday thread earlier, but I’ll reiterate that I don’t care if I got negged into oblivion — this game is incredibly dangerous. Even though I believe we’ll win, some things to consider:

**edit: if we start Perry, a lot of these worries will be thrown out the window. But if we start Rosier, we can legit lose to anybody.**

We’re playing AT Toledo.
They had a bye week to prepare.
This is definitely the biggest game on their schedule, so you know we will get their best effort.

Not to mention the fact that, uhh, how do I put this lightly? We don’t look good at all. I don’t care that we just blew out a team moving to division 2 next year. Our offensive line is garbage. Rosier will probably still be our quarterback. And Diaz, who was carved up by this team last year, is still our DC.

Somebody tell me I’m overreacting and that we roll.

By the way, it was just announced that the game will be on ESPN 2 at 12:00.

Toledo lost all their major play makers on offense from last year. If we lose, then oh my...
 
I'm not worried whatsoever. I remember their defense from last year and they just can't stop the run. Also, they will definitely talk **** pre game, which will only make our players mad. It's ******* Toledo, lady. Hold your flaps.

Talking ****, that'll fire us up. Wait, that's what LSU did. Hmmm

I should think their run defense will be better than what we faced tonight. Our run blocking has been pretty darn bad until later in the game just a few hours ago.

This game isn't a gimme. I can't imagine losing, but I didn't see ECU happening either long ago.

Hopefully this scrimmage gave the team some much needed confidence, but not enough to make them ****y going into this game. Do that and there is the potential to lose.

I'm not going to agree to be scared with you pussies. Not over Toledo. Sorry. If we lose, we lose, but this isn't a game to worry all week about. We're supposed to win. Don't really know what to tell you
 
I'm going to laugh right now at anyone who was certain of rolling LSU but worried about Toledo.

I'm not saying I know of anyone in particular but guaranteed that subset is not zero.

There are always people willing to zig when zag is appropriate, and the reverse

I’ll just say that I never came out and said we’d “roll LSU.” I always thought the game would be closer than many on the board predicted.

Not for anything...but we couldn’t even run the ball consistently on Savannah State.

Well unlike LSU people’s seen this team twice now, not too hot.

I never thought we’d roll LSU, but I thiuggg we’d win. Like most people not named LSU fan.
 
Miami will win the game provided the QB doesn't implode. With that said, Rosier had the best passing game of his career versus Toledo last year.
