I know others felt differently but I feel like he must have either been hurt still or too heavy because he was such a disappointment. I know some more advanced metrics show he did create pressure but in the stadium and on TV didn’t pop much.

I hear ya. I think they're going to have a hard time stopping our passing game which will make them have to abandon the run. Their QB is going to have a really hard time hearing and it will be the first time he's ever played in a college game.

Legit want us to stack the box every play and play press man on the outside until the qb proves he can beat you with his arm in a hostile environment in his first ever start.

The real number of starters returning from the playoffs is 9 on defense, and 6 on offense. If they had a perfectly healthy team, the number is a little different. Say 6 on Defense and 8 on offense. The team that will take the field on 8/31 will likely only have 1 or 2 kids who don’t have starting experience. The QB and possibly a Safety. They have filled the spots they needed to fill other than QB with the portal. These kids were starters at Alabama, VA, and Louisville.

He has played in one game in garbage time but he never started

Strange game and the two teams kind of mirror each other. I think our ability to win will be based on our QB out performing theirs. This assumes I am right and the matchups are as close as I think. One concern I have is their specials verse ours. They have a new kicker as well, but they play specials like we used to in our best days. They frankly just out coach us there. They put a tremendous amount of focus there and we have not. We can beat them on the field and lose because they made some plays on special teams. Thinking about it makes me want to vomit.

We ain't fixing to lose this game. Been to Hard Rock for a couple of games with Florida and Florida State that place can be a madhouse .

Let's just make sure that Carson Beck is ready to step up to f****** ACC also. This conference is not a bunch of b******.
