At 6.5, it is most definitely worth the flight and the night over, that is about as easy as money as you can get. At 7 or 7.5 of course the juice is going to be lower. I don't care about the juice, I'll take 6.5 every single day. I'll take the higher juice and the 6.5 every day of the week, because that's just gift money

It raises a dumb eyebrow. They immediately upped the line when money started flooding in on UM covering that ridiculous number.

Vegas's goal is to get 50% of the money on each side of the bet, and they often get to that goal by adjusting an out of whack number like this one when money floods in on one side of the bet.

I agree it was a bad line, I see a few a season but they can only adjust the line
so much. They put it up to 7.5 they can lose both sides. That's why they adjust the juice sometimes. It's not like a football game where one or two points they can get away with easier. It's not always about getting 50% on both sides, that's why they adjust lines up as the season goes on, more people bet favorites, they know it, they suck people in early on. Never bet what you cant afford to lose. I'd be confident laying a grand down, but I dont have that kind of money to lose.

Whereas in poker you can leave if you are on a losing streak, sports betting is a different animal altogether. : )

Which makes you question, how the HECK are we at 6.5?? even if ALL those teams went over... Duke wins 6, GT wins 7, UNC wins 9, UVA wins 5, and VT wins 7... That's still a PATHETIC showing. No way more than half of those teams don't go over. That's just crazy.
